Two years before i retired from military i decided i wanted to become a bounty hunter. I was ex army ranger and had 27 years in martial arts. Finally got hired by a company and learned on my own how to bounty hunt. I figured one jungle was as good as another. With my background i was right. I also learned to approach suspects and be respectful. It worked well for me and in six years as a bounty hunter i had six physical altercations and one shooting incident.
Are you in Missouri? I just finished my 24 hour training and really want to go into recovery. However as I'm learning it might be best to go full bond writer. I am just having trouble finding a general.
@BobthebatmanBatman more money in bail bonds. Unless you've already got a team to join, starting on your own in most locations is really difficult as many people won't want to hire you and instead give their skips to a team or handle it themselves
I'm a 16 year old and I want to be a fugitive recovery agent when I get older I live in Mississippi and I was wondering if you could help me get connected with other bounty hunters and some steps I need to take on the path to be able to become one
Hey brother. Do you know of anyone who does this in Connecticut? Figured I’d ask. I’m just diving into this. I’ve got my weapons permits and tons of training. I’m going to take the training for CT and start looking. You’re highly respected and your information is top. Any help would be appreciated. Be safe brother
Need any help in the Saint Louis area? I just finished my training course, and I'm about to get my license in Missouri. I'm worried about having to find a general. If you have any advice, I'm all ears!
I'm a convicted felon and I spent almost 7 yearsin prison. Ive wanted to be in bail enforcement or law enforcement. I'm seeing Idaho has loose laws and doesn't require licensing, my question is what if I relocate to Idaho, get my foot in the door, get a few years of experience etc,do you think I'd be able to maybe then be considered for licensing in others states like Mississippi for example? Thanks. I am fully aware that my chances are next to non when it comes to this career choice but I don't quit until I get what I want or until there's no possibility of obtaining what I want. My life took an unfortunate turn of events but I have been out of prison for a year now and my life is completely turned around.
Check your state department of justice and see what all your criminal records have. You’ll need to get those arrests records as well. Then seek an attorney . They’ll guide you what you need to do next.
I’ve been doing armed private patrol for 8 years now 2 years recently caught my first felony charge and I’m bout to take my fugitive recovery classes thank god in cali you can still obtain your bounty hunter license as a felon unless you take and pass the test so that’s a relief for me because I’m trying to get all/any certificates and license I can get 💯
Duane "Dog" Chapman has a first degree murder conviction and still worked legally in Colorado and Hawaii. However, federal law makes having a felony conviction after (IIRC) 1967 or 1969 trigger a lifetime gun possession or use ban. Good luck.
Ben, I'm a Texas peace officer who does bail enforcement. I have family in Mississippi and there a lot. I am about to do my licensing and DOI licensing to be a bail enforcement agent. Do you need a guy to work your skips in the central Mississippi area occasionally when I'm there? table scraps are okay lol
What is the realistic beginner's level income earns , once in the field working with an experienced trainer or two? How long do trainees typically take to be proficient and comfortable with the themselves in order to go to a higher level of pay range?
Having an arm security license is good, but it doesn’t get you into this business. If you live in Mississippi and are interested in being a Bondsman feel free to reach out to me. My phone number and email address or on my Facebook page.
I am 30 .I live in Tishamingo MS I would like to do this. I have the gear and guns. I just need some to help me understand what I need to do. I hope you can help.
I’ve been kickin down doors and robbing people weaker than me for decades in a criminal fashion-there’s really a legitimate job where I could continue to bust in some doors and crack a few skulls!?! My record is clean. I’ve never been convicted of anything. I’m gonna have to hit the fast food chains for a year or two while staying completely immobile to get into proper boot stompin form, but being a bounty hunter has always been a dream of mine. Bobba Fett watch out!!
@@rondodson5736 I can tell you were a country hunter. I was being sarcastic and everyone got it but you and some other moron. The boba fett call out didnt give it away? I You really think I was getting in shape to be a hunter by eating fast food for two years while never moving? Palm to face. Only the Philippines still uses bounty hunters. Everyone knows they are just another violent middle man in law enforcement. Without the bounty hunter the judge only has two options for anyone who gets arrested. If the judge thinks the suspect is a flight risk or a danger to society, they keep that person in jail until trial. If the judge does not think you are a flight risk or a danger-the judge lets you go-for free. No money involved. Cash bail bond only hurts the most oppressed and the poorest of the poor. The bounty hunters where I live don’t just show up at anyone’s homes because they know we despise them and everyone is armed. The bounty hunter doesn’t mess with me because I can pay bail, but, the bounty hunter has no problem ruining someone who can’t pay bail their life as they are forced to sit in jail for up to two years awaiting trial. What if the suspect is innocent? I couldn’t live with myself-you on the other hand get a boner whenever you think about that. Here’s the two opening paragraphs for a paper I wrote years ago. This is how I really look at them. Bail bondsman are literally the lowest of the low in any society. Look into the system before you jump in because the truth of the matter is is that the modern American bounty hunter is just a half step above the slave trade hunters from the southern United States before the US Civil War. The bounty hunter oppresses the lower income areas in any city and never show up and take down anyone in a mansion, or even a three bedroom home-the bounty hunter profits off the most vulnerable and isolated Americans anywhere they operate.
@@rondodson5736 I think he was trolling. I suspect that if we actually met that person he/she would be three feet tall, dressed in all green and looking for his meth laced Lucky Charms at the end of the rainbow.
Easy…you don’t. I get asked all the time by guys. I’ve been hunting for 8 years now. I work for 3 companies and do all their recovery work. So there’s no place in the area I’m at..I have the cases.

Do. Bail enforcement agents carry Airsoft guns??
No. We carry whatever tools we deem necessary. Usually this includes a firearm, a couple less-lethal options, and most importantly handcuffs.
Would you take someone who has armed security license
