I give Lesnar credit for selling his no-selling, as it isn't really typical "no-selling". In those clips, excepting the silly kendo stick shots, he didn't ignore his opponent's moves. Instead he sold the impacts, and then made it look like he was putting in effort to keep standing or to keep his head in the game. He'd go to a knee, or stagger back, or have to shake it off, or at least do something.

I think it sucks how the Undertaker slowly slipped out of character to become just Mark Calaway the biker. His early years with grey/purple gloves were the best.
I've read that even Mark Calloway got tired of the "Frankenstein" style of wrestling. He was capable of doing more so the "American Badass" was like a new lease of life for him, and getting to sell and do more storytelling in the ring made him step up is game in many ways.

@EtherTitan yes they did. Riman was a full island gimmick as LeeKee in early NXT. And the Rock as 'blue chipper' Rocky Maivia was 100% doing the Samoan thing.

😂😂😂I think the no selling fits the big guys like Lesner, Goldberg, Kane and Taker lol the reactions from the other wrestlers when they thought they had them always makes me laugh. I enjoyed the hell out of this video😂😂😂😊😊😊
The only reason you shouldn't sell is if 1) Your opponent is much smaller than you 2) Your character is a monster (Kane, Undertaker) Brock not selling for Cena is ridiculous Sting shouldn't be on this list. He rarely ever no sold, and really it was mostly in matches vs. Flair.
Hulk has been said to have survived getting shot in the heart twice. Got up and walked away without spilling a drop of blood. True story he said so himself.
Their timing is impeccable to not fully contact each other so no one gets hurt !! Amazing control & distance judgements !! These entertainers are the best !! 😊👌
Can we stop with the BS narrative that Hogan was this huge no seller?! It was literally part of his gimmick that the fans paid to see every night. And the whole "Hulk Up" thing lasted maybe 30 seconds out of the entire match. He was the top babyface in the world for 10 years. You don't get that spot unless you gain sympathy from the crowd. And how do you get sympathy from the crowd? By selling! Watch his match with Andre from Mania 3. It is a masterclass of selling
The steel chairs to the head with no reaction are crazy haha, countless wrestlers have out of character said that they still hurt even with the right technique so i cant imagine it straight to the head like damn
At least of all these Sting showed the most credibility for no selling. He was once hit in the face with a baseball bat by Kurt Angle. A botch, with pulled back, but legit shot to the face and the Stinger kept going like a champ.
When Kane was indestructible for his first 8 months, it was awesome. Then once he lost to Austin the night after KOTR, that was it. Went from withstanding chairs, metal tools, tombstones, fire......to losing to a low blow rollup and then eventually to an x-factor. 💀
9:55 Meng (aka Haku) had this thing he'd do that I always found simultaneously humorous and badass. Someone would ram his head into the top turnbuckle once or twice, then Meng would headbutt the top turnbuckle three or four times then turn and yell in his opponent's face.

Hmm I think they might of realized the box it would put them in. Yoko nd Rikishi were so close in their Samoan escape but then got stranded in Sumocity lol
@EtherTitan yes they did. Riman was a full island gimmick as LeeKee in early NXT. And the Rock as 'blue chipper' Rocky Maivia was 100% doing the Samoan thing.
6:58 Hook looks like he will break a neck if someone kicks him.
I never understood the part where Hogan points at his opponent and the crowd says "YOU!" as if the person betrayed Hogan.
I think it was more like he's gonna give you payback
17:50 Orton looks so done with Hulk’s bs 😂😂😂
No selling makes sense when it fits the character, like Undertaker or Kane when they sit up or Brock post UFC. Samoan wrestlers no selling headbutts as well.
😂😂😂I think the no selling fits the big guys like Lesner, Goldberg, Kane and Taker lol the reactions from the other wrestlers when they thought they had them always makes me laugh.
I enjoyed the hell out of this video😂😂😂😊😊😊
7:53 that's really taz's son he looks nothing like him at all
Goldust is the best character and wrestler ever.
Made everyone look solid.
The only reason you shouldn't sell is if 1) Your opponent is much smaller than you 2) Your character is a monster (Kane, Undertaker)
Brock not selling for Cena is ridiculous
Sting shouldn't be on this list. He rarely ever no sold, and really it was mostly in matches vs. Flair.
The rock's elbows on taker when he sits up are hilarious
No selling a piledriver is stupid, no matter who you are.
The ultimate warrior and sting were my favorites of this list 😎
Hulk has been said to have survived getting shot in the heart twice. Got up and walked away without spilling a drop of blood. True story he said so himself.
Hulk got run over by a truck and walked it off, what a legend
Brock Lesnar here is really harsh
His match against AJ STYLES DANIEL BRAYAN SETH ROLLINS...man he looked in so much pain
Best channel ever
Appreciate the support!
@@WrestlingFlashback ❤️❤️
LOOOOOL at 3:49, who was the chicken and what was he trying to do to Kane, give him a crossface chicken wing?
Bob, was that you???
😆😆😆😆
John moxley is the worst when it comes to no selling.
Is the worst period
Gypsy Joe.
Thank you! At the time he was like a superhero to all the little kids so the Hulk up made sense for him.
The steel chairs to the head with no reaction are crazy haha, countless wrestlers have out of character said that they still hurt even with the right technique so i cant imagine it straight to the head like damn
How about the whole AEW roster??
Another amazing video 👏🏻
Old-school Kane and Undertaker were scary AF!
Lesnar kicking out at 1 was pretty badass tho
HULK HOGAN
was like a real life
SUPER HERO
in the 1980's
Even though it wasn't the point of his character
@@Bricefrihasure it was
2:08 Seth was dead inside for a while.
edit: Hogan = Warrior.
Guess why they were a tag team partners.
Jesus f christ.
The hulk up shit may be one of the worst things in wwe history
Helped the WWF go national.
More than anything this video made me miss the sound of the WCW ring.
At least of all these Sting showed the most credibility for no selling. He was once hit in the face with a baseball bat by Kurt Angle. A botch, with pulled back, but legit shot to the face and the Stinger kept going like a champ.
14:42 scary sting facepaint looks like a demon that eats babies
When Kane was indestructible for his first 8 months, it was awesome. Then once he lost to Austin the night after KOTR, that was it. Went from withstanding chairs, metal tools, tombstones, fire......to losing to a low blow rollup and then eventually to an x-factor. 💀
Zeus, Giant Gonzalez, The Giant, Great Khali, Kurrgan,
(Z gangsta, The Big Slow).
4:33 Behold... Kane sitting up like the BROTHERTAKER
Zeus
9:55 Meng (aka Haku) had this thing he'd do that I always found simultaneously humorous and badass. Someone would ram his head into the top turnbuckle once or twice, then Meng would headbutt the top turnbuckle three or four times then turn and yell in his opponent's face.
😂always know I'm in for a treat whenever you post something keep it up
7:55 NGL, Hook looking like a more scrappier version of his father. Watch out for him.
My favorite part was the undertaker bells! Classic video!!!
