Way to Fix GXR28 Problem

- take out the low speed needle and put some rtv sillicone sealer around the small o-ring, replace the needle and screw it in .5mm this will fix the cutting out problem when you hit the throttle

The GX21 also has the same problem which a lot of people struggle with. I cut a 3 inch long strip of PTFE tape in half length ways to make it narrower and then wrapped it around the LSN inner O-ring and thread on mine and it worked great.
Very nice. Actually I've never been able to get this started. It floods like Katrina. I sent the engine to Kyosho and they claimed it was fine. But they included an extra carburetor.....new one. I found a kyosho low speed needle o ring set for 12 bucks. Hope that cures it. I hesitate to put wet rtv silicone into the low speed jet. I am sure Kyosho has a solution and I am going to call them. I hope your engine it well. I have never heard mine run yet!
yeah dude mine wall stalling up and was kinda bogging i pulled out the LSN and sure enough the small O ring was fuct....just put some silicone round it with a bit of luck this will fix all.....Well picked up
min hsn is 2,1 , dunno lsn, but that works great, easily does burnouts on dry tarmac

I have a problem with the "high speed needle" above the "idle adjustment screw" on my GXR28 engine. The needle falls out when I drive the car. Each time.
The dealership told me to fasten the screw/needle and turn it back out 3 whole rounds.
But still the needle felt out when I drove it.
In Norway we are out of this part, they have to order from Japan. Can I use another brand?
And can I glue the needle so it wont come of again?

The gold is the low speed. The needle you're pointing at is the high speed. Do you know how to fix an idle issue with that engine? Cuz after I broke in mine, the idle is flat but too high. Mine runs well, goes at least 60 MPH, but the idle is horrid. Might as well get an RB Concepts Circuit 11. That'd be worth it.

and also didnt u say that its to rich on the low speed and leaks in to much fuel and stalls? So why at the end of the clip did u say that if its is bogging to richen the low speed needle!
Hi i have a kyosho inferno gt2 on road car 1/8 scale with a gxr28 engine i tryed everythink to tune the engine an jus cant get it to run right
Hi there, I have a question you may be able to answer. I have this exact model, the ST US Sprits 2, the engine ran in perfectly, but soon after started overheating very quickly. It would reach 250F after a few minutes of easy running. Also it jumps from idle to full throttle, without the carb slider moving. First I thought the radio system was moving on its own but I disconnected the servo horn to watch it idle and it still happens. Have you any idea what could cause this?

Coz what is is that it takes ages to start an when i get it started its running to fast on idle an when i turn the revs down it cuts out

what you say is the LSN is really the middle speed needle. reason there is problems is u must be professional to mess with it! i blew my engine!
