Seasons of FLAME - Nelken Line

Students of DANC203 - Dance Technique II: Contemporary Dance 2022 from FLAME University have created this tribute to the iconic Pina Bausch’s work known as the Nelken Line. This video is inspired by her work and choreography. This piece showcases the changing of seasons through four simple gestures repeated in a sequence.
Four out of five members represent a season (indicated by costume, makeup and face paint design) and lead the line when they are at the location representing their season. The fifth member represents the sky. We believe all seasons start and end there.
