The logic behind susaki getting a repechage- she can claim that she faced a far heavier opponent in vinesh. Susaki , who's aiming for gold, will gain just enough weight that she would have been able to reduce it in one night (since she is a serious Gold medal contender) (Eg-52 kgs during the match) , but an athelete who missed weight on day 2, its an indication that vinesh did not follow weight discipline during her matches on day 1. She is basically taking a free hand at gaining weight to get an advantage over susaki and even the other opponents. (Eg- Vinesh could have been 54/55kgs during the match). The olympics do not know from which game Vinesh might have started weight- bullying. That is the underlying logic

Vinesh gained weight because she defeated s susaki logic is very simple it was expected that she will lose to susaki and will play repacharge next day so her weight will be easily under 50 next day but when se won she has to fight 2 more bouts on same day so to take more energy and then she has less time to reduce it

@@lifeisstrangevideos3924 yes.. sad for Susaki that she faced an opponent who just went "fuck it, I'll just gain massive weights" . Vinesh tried to play the rules, but unfortunately for her she overshot her weights making her unable to reduce it before day 2.
And the appeal to the CAS was just making Indian wrestling look like fools infront of the world.

Yes agree, I didn't agree with Nikhil when it does seem like its double punishment on wrestlers like susaki for losing to an invalid, overweight wrestler , that doesn't seem fair either, I agree when he said maybe both sides should be incorporated if possible

I understand the logic that Nikhil is trying to explain, but then someone like Yui Susaki will argue that "It's not my fault that I faced and lost to an invalid wrestler and I deserve a fair chance at winning a medal against valid wrestlers".

59:29 there is no super over for a bilateral ODI !!! Surprising that you don't have basic knowledge of cricket rules.

How can you expect those potboilers tak yaari today, to behave even 0.01% as sensible as real experts like Harsha Bhogle 🙁☹️😊
Follow Harsha for real expertise in cricket ☹️😊

If Vinesh was disqualified on day 1 then Susaki would have won that wound. Susaki can always say that she was fighting a heavier wrestler.

Don’t agree with your suggestion on no weigh in on second day. This way a 49 kg wrestler would be fighting 52.7 kg wrestler. Wrestlers should chose category which is closer to their natural weight category.

Regarding you comment on an aspiring athletes working as a barista, I don’t think this is true at all (maybe it is for a tiny portion) but almost every athlete in the US contingent is part of the college division sports. Camryn Rogers for example is a college graduate. A barista is a minimum wage job and hardly a livable wage esp in sports power house states like California.

I don’t know about Europe first hand (and honestly don’t really think we should be learning from them) but America is a very different story with college athletics. The pipeline is a very different game. I would even go as far as saying what the IPL did for cricket in terms of talent and grassroots should be replicated and adopted for the every thing else. Whole else cut copy might not work at all(see what happened with volleyball pro league), but I don’t think we can hope that incompetent state capacity and leadership can inject the professionalism private played are motivated to bring in.

    What's your thoughts, people 👇😊
Lakshya Prannoy and such Indian badminton players must play more frequently with the beast mode players like Christie Axelsen etc., because playing with the very best is the only way to find our own weaknesses and polish our skills even better ✌️☺️
Dear Lakshya Sen, you are mere 22, just like our dear Manu Bhaker. The bitter pill to swallow is, you have missed your finest chance to clinch Gold Silver or even Bronze, in your best fighting efforts & form in the Paris Olympics 2024. Still all truest sports lover and honest persona like me and all, will always support you, Lakshya Insane 😊

Not flighting the shuttle way too many times, and always playing to the opponent's weaknesses especially in knockouts, is the only way to win such knockout tournaments, and Lakshya must learn this soon 🙁☹️😊
