Fun Fact, Lord Farquaad is based on former (& at the time) Disney CEO Micheal Eisner, which makes John Lithgow’s casting really funny cause he was originally going to voice Hades in Hercules but Eisner believed it wasn’t working so they got James Woods instead.

Shrek was one of the few movie franchises that while they weren't as good as the original the sequel were very enjoyable ........I kinda wish in another one of the movies Shrek had been in a cage match with a bad guy would've been a great reference to the first movie (and yes I know he was imitating a wrestling match)
