Piers doesn't listen at all, he comes in to an interview with his own preconceptions then spends the whole time just repeating the same thing regardless of actual reality.
Thats his concept. But it sucks i agree. He is very smart and cool and so on but this format and on Uncensored makes it very unbalanced and doesnt create a good debate enviroment.

Ash was being firm in focusing on the issue and the topic while Piers spent half of the interview trying to drag her to Obama. That’s alot of effort to make one small point. That’s a poor journalism.

The way the girl is a guest on the show and the interviewer talks repeatedly over her and more than the actual guest whilst asking questions to her specifically is absolutely outrageous. People need to understand that humans aren’t heros, we do these protests and whatnot for maybe personal and ethical reasons. We can’t go to every protest out there. And let me tell you, it isn’t safe every time. Me as a person living in Sweden (a 1st world country mind) who as a nation has a stage 4/5 terror attack warning can tell you that I don’t want to risk my life as much as I want my opinion and human rights heard. Piers Morgan spent his time trying to make Ash look bad instead of trying to have any kind of discourse. What a joke of a journalist
One thing emerges from this interview with a luminous 4K clarity: Piers Morgan has correctly identified this brilliant charming witty beautiful girl, politically committed to the redistribution of wealth, and articulately able to express an argument for it on national TV, as a grave threat to him and his rich friends. Perhaps the gravest threat of his lifetime. For that reason he does everything he can to put words into her mouth, to prevent her from putting her case, to harry and harass her, mischaracterise her and misrepresent her, send her down blind alleys, commandeer the argument, malign her integrity and trip her up with bluster and irrelevancies - and through it all she retains her composure and only loses her temper when it's clear to any fair-minded viewer that it's what he has deserved. This was really a big moment I think. And everyone saw it: 2.7 million and counting.

Okay, so this only made one thing clear; Piers has always conducted himself as a journalist in the exact same manner towards people who don't share his politics:
1) talking more than the guests he's supposed to be platforming and interviewing,
2) shouting at them instead of having a constructive discussion to, at least, feign an effort at understanding where they're coming from and what they're trying to communicate,
3) repeating the same questions and bullet points which he thinks expose some sort of moral failure on their part, when in fact they simply expose his own unshakable bias and unilateral understanding of the situation at hand, and
4) making blatantly obvious that he's not really trying to conduct journalism at all, he's just attempting to have a "gotcha" moment to humiliate, as he thinks, people who regardless of any of their ethical/moral/political omissions, are fighting for far more positive change that he ever has or ever will.
And him parroting the fact that he opposed the Iraq invasion (as of 2023 at least) isn't the flex he thinks he is to eternally absolve him and his politics. It's him basically asking us to applaud the most basic-level humanity and common sense which led him to oppose just ONE issue, in contrast to thousands of others, much like what he's trying to blame other people for.
I just hate that I have to give him the time of day in the first place, in order to have an informed opinion and argument about him and his work, which sadly works to his benefit.

It’s the lesser of two evils.
Economically: Obama inherited a recession and left office with a flourishing economy with a lower deficit than when he started. Trump inherited a flourishing economy and left office in a recession with a higher deficit then both Bush and Obama combined.
Militarily: Both supported wasteful spending like with Freedom-classwar ships. And both lied to the American people about withdrawing troops when in truth US forces stayed put or moved over to a country over with continued missions in the same country.

What exactly was he right about? Is it right to say that unless we are aware of and oppose every single issue in an increasingly complicated and interconnected world and unless we protest every single diplomatic representative from a country whose practices we don't espouse, we shouldn't protest anything or anyone at all? Is it right to say countries shouldn't hold the states who are their most significant allies (and by extension have infinitely larger potential to affect their own societal norms/cultures/policies/economies) to higher standards in comparison to the rest?
