Reading and contemplating the nectar of Sri Ramakrishna's words should indeed be the center of the spiritual path that bears his name. All other teachings, theological constructions, before and after the advent of Thakur, must be illuminated by the perspective of what is taught so clearly in this Sri Sri Ramakrishna Kathamrita.
You removed the scum from the surface of the pond. You enlightened me in Vijnana Vedanta and my home has been reached. I now bathe in the bliss of knowing that the Ramakrishna Loka awaits me.
Please play the songs that they talk about. I listened to o r song swami vivekananda sang and it just broke my dam of tears. Just talk does not seem to do that. Please… for the sake of those of us who don’t know Bengali music…
This is such an insightful reading. Having read this favourite incident from Bhagwan Sri Ramakrishna life earlier, we could understand this is much more depth. Particularly liked the astute observation of Swamiji, pointing out why Sri Ramakrishna referred to Sri Vidyasagar as 'tumi' and not the formal 'apni', even though Vidyasagar was much elder. We can understand what a towering personality Sri Ramakrishna was even at that early age. Everyone , including Sri Vidyasagar listening in awe. Thanks and pranam.
