  • It's hard to believe these guys have been around 25-30 years! I can vividly remember hearing them for the first time way back when and thinking how awesome they sounded. Melodic hard rock at its best. They came out at a time when grunge and alternative were dominating so unfortunately these guys never received the credit they deserve. I do believe they helped keep this music alive and we should feel fortunate that they are still creating music today. So when you think of teN you think of Gary Hughes - the driving force behind the band. What an incredible songwriter he is! Please buy the CD and read the lyrics thoroughly - Mr. Hughes does not disappoint on this one! This is solid from start to finish and no doubt will be in the running for album of the year on my list. It gets a 10/10 for me - what else could you give a teN album? Now…how about some tour dates? I would love for these guys to hit the USA but we know how difficult that is. I could see them touring with Black Swan, Fans of the Dark, White Widdow (they toured together in the past - hey someone get White Widdow back out there because they are missed!).
Stand out tracks: Brave New Lie, The Tidal Wave, Parabellum, The Only Way Out, When Darkness Comes (well, and all the others too).
    10/10 rating

Been a fan of ten for a long time, favourite albums are Babylon and Stormwarning, also very keen on the first 3 and of the later ones Gothica and Illuminati, of course Gary wrote for the solo albums of Bob Catley of Magnum, these are also well worth investigating.

Gary Hughes is the man! I love those albums you mentioned. The way Babylon tells a story… and Stormwarning was fantastic. The sheer volume of material over the years is incredible. It’s a shame they don’t get more recognition.
