I know I’ve said this before but I can imagine Elvis loving your videos and appreciating “the walk through memory lane”. Seeing his old school. That auditorium doesn’t look much different than the footage from the documentary done back in the 80s. I hope they get the funding for the improvements they need. Great job!
I think it’s a middle school. But any use looks very expensive to repair. Just roof alone I’d expensive. It depends on what city council decides on what happens to a structure. Kennedy high school in Taylor Michigan will be demolished and replaced with a brand new high school. The one used now will be junior high school. Lorainohio has all modern public Schools.
Or Elvis shooting his computer monitor when he someone says something he doesn’t like. 😂
But he says it’s a junior high school now. Plus it is a very old school, so I’m sure that the city council will look at every angle and in some cases the school districts around here have just built new schools. It depends that one is 100 years old, so it might be near impossible to update itto modern standards

Spa Guy, it is wonderful the school memorizes ELVIS, and I can see him at the school. I can see him in the auditorium, on the stage or in the audience l. I can see him in the boy's restroom, and his friend, "Red," coming to his rescue. It is wonderful the school can be toured after school hours. The school looks kept up and nice, and almost a hundred years old. ❤️IN MEMORY OF ELVIS AARON PRESLEY❤️
I love older schools. So cool to see parts of the older architecture still around . Maybe Hollywood will make another movie and put effort into restoring some of the school to use in the film one day . Win win for the movie and the school .

My Aunt and Uncle went to school there with Elvis.
They both have yearbooks signed by him and programs where they played in band together. To my aunt he said to a very cute girl. To my uncle he said to a great guitarist. I have pictures of both.

Great video Billy and trey. Over the years I've read just about all of the books, and watched all of the movies made about elvis. I took all of it with a grain of salt never know what Was accurate. Then I found you and have learned so much that I know is true because you have the evidence. So thanks for all you do for us Elvis fans. Now the movie I thoroughly enjoyed it I wasn't going for a history lesson just to be entertained. I get the only true history that is factual from you and trey. Thanks again

I believe you did a video on Humes some time ago. I’ve been meaning to go back and find it because you featured a plaque on the wall by the exit that highlights the number of young men that went too that school who were killed in WW2. You want see anything like that in a modern school.

Billy the line in the bricks could have been from a building shift repair done a couple years before Elvis attended the school and the brick mason tried to get the grout to match the shade of the existing bricks but couldn’t cause you can see a foundation crack in the same spot as the bricks that look like a zipper

Where was Elvis in the photo? Was he still in High School? They all looked like they had service uniforms on. I think I spotted him back last row 2nd from the left, Am I correct? I'm still wanting to know why this picture was taken in front of his High School when he was in the service and what year was the picture taken?
He was in the JR ROTC. He joined while still in high school.. The U.S. Army Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (JROTC) is one of the largest character development and citizenship programs for youth in the world. I once had a dream about a high school, but it wasn’t a high school that I actually went to in Michigan. This particular high school that Elvis went to seems like it might’ve been a dream. But looks like this school may be beyond repair? There is a high school in Wyandotte Michigan that is about the same age as the school but I don’t know what condition that one is it it will be very hard to modernize the school. Maybe just a historic structure and probably have to build a new high school. Actually James Dean high school in Indiana has been torn down.

I agree Billy!!! I’ve got a buddy who visited Memphis / GRACELAND for the first time the week after Christmas. They said it was the best vacation they’ve ever been on!! But he’s asking me about all these places and events from the ELVIS movie. I told him that was about 85% make believe and not to hold much to be true to facts. Keep doing what you do!!!

How did you figure out that that was not Elvis and do you know who it was and when that picture taken?
I have o idea where the picture came from but it is definitely not Elvis just look at him and the building is not the same building.. there are several pictures floating around saying they are Elvis and they are not this one appeared in Life magazine which makes it even worse..
