- This is the video of a silver arowana fish which is been bought to a 2.5 feet tank in the initial period and then moved to a 4 feet tank. Growth of this arowana during this one year is been clearly analysed through this 3 minute video.

This is mega cruel, you need like a 300 gallon tank to give this fish a decent life. Its suffering in that tiny tank and theres no stimulation at all. Never ceases to amaze me how people just think this is ok

Welp my arowana is starting to get bigger before he was most likely to be 10 inches now I measured his length and he's now 12.5 but can you please tell me how can I grow him more quicker and also I consider him as a male since he eats in a aggressive manner
Arowana fish can grow up to 3 feet but how can u keep them in a 4 feet tank . Arowana fish can live up to 12-15 years in some rare occasions it can live up to almost 20 years. But in this tank it can live for only 5 to 7 years. Arowana fish need a very big tank above 150 gallon which is more than 6 feet. U r torturing ur fish for ur enjoyment. How cruel psycho path u r. I am shure ur fish will not going to survive above 7 years. It will die because of organ failure, ammonia poisoning etc. All u r doing is absolute fish abuse. if u your fish to live long and happy buy a big tank or give the fish to a responsible fish owner

I used to feed live feed to my arowana..
Medicines i used to give monthly as tetracycline250 & metrogyl 400 for deworming...
For small issues iodine less salt & methylene blue is enough
