I work at the burton store up in Park City (much love) and Sage said it the best in terms of step-ons, they are really great for the older snowboarder who is tired of having to bend over to strap in (we do get some people who have been riding for 20 years who still sit down to strap in which is crazy) but for the average rider stepons are solid, i do think the marketing for them right now is not the best, anytime burton post a pro rider riding step ons at the park the ENTIRE comment section is just filled with "sure but we know they switched back to their regular bindings right after you got this clip" there is still that stigma against step ons that i think holds them back a little. But, burton has also been big on kids step ons the past couple of years, so i think in probably 5 years (ish) we will get some actual solid park riders who are in stepons because it's all they've ever ridden
Thank god people are finally admitting that the plastic straps are not more comfortable. Came back to snowboarding when these injection molded straps were in full affect and they killed my feet. Went through different boots because everyone was hyping these newer straps as being better. Turned out it was the straps not the boots that caused me pain. Fortunately the straps are changing and getting more comfortable again.
Reason I bought supermatics was because of our east coast riding on and off the lift constantly but if I was riding a bigger mountain where the runs take 20mins to ride down I wouldn't need them, so I ride them for the convenience
Raymer mvp
Raymer crushed it even if he can't see spins under 14
Love the board banter from this studio crew, Raymer is a legend for the snowboard nerds out there. Also 50-50 fatigue is too real
Thank you for the kind words!!
Much love Sam! 💙🔊
Literally drove to max to fix my bindings as I listened to this
Max knows his stuff! Shout out to the local shops helping the greater snowboard community!
This was a good one!
Fun batch of Turbo Takes!
some very high quality banter in this one, 10/10
Much love!
The only, and I mean ONLY thing that would make the banter any better would Craig on this episode! 11/10 fellas
Stoked to hear that! Hopefully we can get Craig back in for a Group Chat this winter!
All the events should be on UA-cam.
Why didn't you ask Java why Arbor dropped Mike Liddle? 🤔
Sage is the king of banter
That milo halo shirt goes hard 🔥
Truth!
Epic Banter & Crew...Made me laugh so hard, I started crying :0

Thanks for watching! One more click!!
here for the breakdown on Stubai megaspins/crazy tricks (39:00), happy to hear it in real terms to figure out what the heck is going on
The Stubai jump session truly changed snowboarding

The low mute !!!😂 ioc jargon is top notch 😂 👌❤️
I thought it was wild that Max dropped the deets that not every thing is slowed down...up to TV broadcast. Wild.
I could listen to Raymer talk about flex and bindings for hours
Agreed! And you can make it happen when you visit him and the crew at Milo!
Chris Summit County will welcome you with open arms! Come on down
Let's see that big, nice burgundy snowboard in action!
On it, stay tuned!
I feel like Arbor isn’t giving Mike Liddle the credit he deserves
Insane wattage on those spins
enough to power the grid
Step ons are for the older and/or overweight people who have a hard time standing up. My buddy bought some and loves them.
Spenny pulling down that Ali G vibe that can’t be denied! Another heater gents, test those judges too!! 🧑⚖️ 👩⚖️ 👨⚖️ ⛽️
Thanks for watching!
Talking about Side Effect brings up good memories. Spencer knew his gear.
Follow Me Around has someone doing the gnarliest two rewinds ever. Gonna have to skim the vid to find it.
1:55:55 I'm pretty sure you caught Java mid-zip. I saw all the side eyes in studio 🤣🤣🤣
hahaha
If you can guess the correct number of times Sage says both fire and gas during the entire episode, you will win a 🔥 Grenier trophy!
thats fire

So fun , love yall

Make Dong the first "Run Through A Wall" Pro
not a bad idea
Im just here for the judging
Was literally just messing around and customizing my Union Stratas when u guys started talking about it... Weird.. 8^))
Hopefully more people are dialing in their bindings after this episode!
Group chat kills the blues every time. Don't forget Beyond Medals movie drop tomorrow....
Much love! Stoked for new Beyond Medals, we talked with Kevin Backstrom about the upcoming video recently
@@TheBombHole Is the new Beyond Medals the only snowboard video without rails etc coming out this year?
Reason I bought supermatics was because of our east coast riding on and off the lift constantly but if I was riding a bigger mountain where the runs take 20mins to ride down I wouldn't need them, so I ride them for the convenience
And to add another note, if I rode park I definitely would just use a traditional binding
Step-on vs traditional bindings is the same debate as 2-stroke vs 4-stroke
GEAR TALK - hot one - wrap bolts in PTFE tape... the NEVER Come loose ;-)
COME BACK TO SUMMIT, we need some community!!!!!
Might have to do an event in Colorado some time!
All the dong snowboard talk had me rolling
Shout out to Dongheon Lee!
The 2100, solving the climate crisis one rotation at a time.
Fuckin Hell you guys made me maniacally cackle alone like a freak 🖤
Hahahaha much love!
Who's going to be the first person to use step ons and do a one footer for one of their tricks?
Is that Milo shirt available at the shop?? I love Milo and halo!
Swing by the shop to find out!
Heater clips was best segment
Love to hear that!
1:44:10 how can you judge something you've never tried?
love the group chats but yall are getting way too comfortable with ad breaks
I'd be an excellent judge. Plus I'd give dumb low scores if you grab your boot or / and hamstring.
Has anyone done a double cork in step ons yet? ;)
I've got 100 bucks for the prize pool in the Bomb Hole Cup splitboard jib jam.
Is it another Danny Kass third leg board?
no thats not a bad idea tho
spencer my fuses r dying some may say dead but please send me new ones im a dirt poor lifty
This was soooo fucking goood
Fun chat! Thanks for watching!
Stop saying gas and fire. You’re adult men.
