- To everyone asking the same question despite it being answered several times below, the other clips are from 'Barbarians Rising' on the History channel. :)
We never really got to know anything about Lexa’s past in terms of family life. So I wanted to create a bit of a back story for her.
Or, Lexa being Epic! What if she had a mother, or mother figure who was also a badass warrior woman? How did she shape who Lexa was to become?

I totally think you made an amazing job!! I think we all wish to know more about Lexa backstory, even Alycia said that in the last Comic Con Copenhagen, she said that she really wanted to know more about Lexa past, how she got to be a Commander, her family, her tattoos meaning etc, to portrait her in a better way. I really wish someday not far someone could have the idea to make a Lexa's movie, could be SO epic! But YOU really gave us her story somehow in this incredible video! Thank you. I'm so pleased you enjoyed the video. Yeh I was gutted that we didn't get to learn more about her past and the Grounders in general. They were far more interesting than a lot of the Sky people, imo.

This vid was so awesome. I am an Alycia Debnam Carey fan and Lexa is and was my favorite character so for me to say it's awesome is saying something. You've got talent. I fell in love with Lexa all over again.

I have actually reworked this video since in order to get rid of the CW logo in a few clips, and also to tighten up the editing a little more. I keep meaning to upload it but I don't think I can switch out this video for the new one, can I? I think I would need to do a brand new upload.
Yes I think you are right. If you re-upload then you'll lose all the views etc. I think it looks grand as it is, but I get you wanting it to be perfect!
Wow, this is epic! What a fantastic job of editing you did and what a great idea! Perfect music, too. Lexa is such a shero and one girls today could really admire and dream about. I hate it that she was killed; yes, I know the actress had other commitments but her character shouldn't have died, imo. For far too long women and girls had no sheros to love and then Wonder Woman and Xena made it to the top, then Lexa and Clarke, two great badasses!. Sorry, I'm being too long-winded. Just love her and love all the videos of Clexa. Thank you for all work and keeping it all alive.

I don't believe the scheduling conflicts line, tbh. I think there was more to it than that, and that it was more down to Jason and he used her as a scape goat once they started getting backlash over Lexa's death. The fact that we can now see FTWD doesn't even start filming until January kinda supports that, too. But, what is done is done. :/
All we can do now is try and keep her alive in spirit by doing vids, fan art, fics, etc. :)

I think you have me confused with someone else. I've not done any videos for Carol, or any other pairing for that matter. Not yet, anyway. I've only done clexa vids. So there's a chance that video might still be up on that person's page. :)
As for the Like thing - they're still there, but some people choose to have them turned off, I think. I think that's something you can do, anyway. I'm not sure. You know like how some people turn comments off? So if you were on someone else video when you noticed, then it might just be that, and not necessarily your pc, or something YT has done - this time at least. But if it is definitely one of mine you're on then i'm not sure. Because they are still there.

This is really good! Lexa is such an iconic character, so much potential for TV networks to explore her backstory n her future adventures. Hopefully there will be a spinoff. This video is so well done. Lexa having a badass warrior mum as a role model who shaped who she became just make so much sense.

And yeh, she is truly iconic. She was so layered and complex, there was so much potential squandered with her, Anya and the Grounders as a whole. It's beyond infuriating that we're likely to never see her again.

Just so you know, I have a new video coming up very soon. Hopefully uploading it on Monday. I will have to have a think about a Lexa/Grounder focused video.
I'm short of some episodes from S1 though in 1080p, so I don't have much Anya footage or early Lincoln stuff or other Grounders. I just have 1 or 2 eps from near the end of the season I think and I can't get the rest. So yeh, i'm a bit limited with just S2/S3 stuff. But never say never.
The one i'm going to upload soon started off with me wanting it to be Lexa/Grounders focused, but ended up more Lexa/Clarke/lil bit of grounders again. :) Hope ppl like it anyway. I finally got to use Final Cut Pro!

Boodica...nice touch i saw that documentary i loved all 4 episodes...it looks good here, i've read a few clexa fiction but none have a character as lexa's mother but it will change with mine....muahahaha if you want to read it let me know
Thank you. :) Yeh, i'm interested in giving that a read. I tend to steer away from fics until they're complete, though a lot of the time. Occasionally i make exceptions, if I hear that they're ridiculously good.
EJ T There are a few very talented fiction writters out there i've read a few that i really liked...way more than the 100 itself...i'll send you the link to mine but know that i've changed a few things and i still have to add maybe one or two more chapters to really "start" my fiction...know that it will have a dark, supernatural, a bit gorish vibe to it...i'm turning clarke into something with something more i cant say...i hope you like it

No worries. :) It gave me the chance to make a couple changes as well, and it does look way better without that damn logo.
I'm sure I will probably go back and have a look at my earlier ones that have the logo in them, too, and swap out the scenes for non-logo versions, and maybe make other edits here and there as well, as there are some things that still bug me in places.
Something to do while I wait for inspiration to hit for a new video anyway. :)
Netflix or any channel had better employ you to their promos for all things Clexa/Grounders!!! Then they can employ you for all their other shows. LOL!

Your choice of musical score resonates the emotions of the characters and scenes..which makes it captivating (to me at least). The arc of your storytelling is convincing! Just a personal opinion that you do grand justice to Lexa and the Grounders :)

+Amanda Brown Both are correct. Lexa is how we spell it, yes. But the way Grounders speak it is done phonetically. So it is then written as Leksa, as there isn't an X, Q or C in trigedasleng apparently. So Octavia is Okteivia, Clarke is Klark etc
