We had to prepare for this Redmond Homesteader Summit. To see how we prepared our farm sitter watch this video: ua-cam.com/video/kpIzDuYjYro/v-deo.html
my grandfather was a molecular biologist and thanks to him our family has been using only redmond salt since the early 1960s you could literally write a short book about all the benefits of "real" salt that retains all its natural properties
I hope you guys get it discounted (if not through our link or someone's) We LOVE their products and always feel awkward raving about them because it makes me feel like a salesman 🤦🏼♀️ My favorite seasoning is their garlic salt, onion salt, all their smoked salts and garlic pepper. I started buying their 10 lb tubs of fine grain to always have on hand. After this educational lecture, their flavored re-lyte mixes 🤯.... Stay blessed! - Mrs. NG
Great Video, We had no idea that salt has that many health benefits in it. We learned something today. This trip was educational for us and we weren't even there.lol 😆 🤣 😂 We hope you guys are stacked up with salt. Thanks for sharing. Enjoy your day
I used to use sea salt because I thought it was healthier. I started using Redmond after watching Dr Ken Berry talk about all the salt impurities. One particular contaminant that stuck out to me was nano plastics that were found in regular salt. 🤢
Ikr? We were using kosher and sea salt as well. Then the whole rave on Himalayan salt which we found out was not even from there change our whole mindset.
Redmond Natural Mineral Salt contains natural iodine. The FDA requires the label "no added iodine" when iodine is not added to salt for human consumption. However the Department of Agriculture doesn't require that. So Redmond Natural Mineral Salt label shows "Iodine 10 ppm." Same salt from the same mine.
Redman sea salt contains iodine? This is perfect I've been worried that I'm not getting enough iodine but at the same time I've been afraid of eating salt because I've heard some people say it's bad for bone health but on the flip side I've heard people say it's good for bone health because of the minerals but I know iodine is important for thyroid health I'm going to eat salt because I think it can benefit bone health as long as we don't eat way too much I think
I read an article recently saying that Redmond salt has 300 ppb of lead, is this true and what difference does this make, other brands have much lower levels according to article.
Pink Himalayan salt is sourced from Pakistan and has questionable sourcing from our understanding... Redmond real salt is an American product with documented sourcing. We've had all the great salts and it truly just tastes better even before we knew the facts. 😊
1. It's made in the USA and not Pakistan. There is a misconception that it is from the Himalayas but its not. Some of thr pink salt has coloring in it. 2. It is all nature. Not refined what so ever. Redmond has a lot of trace minerals that your body needs to function. 3. It just taste better. Give it try for 30 days and you'll love it.
They're basically the same. Best thing to do it look at the chemical analysis of both. I use Redmonds myself because my kidneys aren't doing such a great job of taking care of potassium for the time being and Redmonds doesn't contain it. Most others do except refined salt which is really only good for curing, pickling and such....
Because most people use salt that doesn't have the healthy minerals that your body actually needs to absorb nutrients better...it's a much healthier salt. When people go to the hospital very ill....salt is in the IV.
@TheNakidGardeners I just got my 1st bottle a week ago. I need to get used the minerals that don't dissolve. Seems like it has sand in there but I like it so far.
@RubioETX we like to use the hot water option on our keurig to dissolve the mixture while mixing and pour over ice most of the time and just add extra water. It's saving us in this heat we're having truthfully
I am sorry, with all due respect, and I am using Redmond real salt (after I watched Dr Diliantonio "salt fix". The thing is that I am surprised to see the owner of this company on this video, you would expect to see him looking fit, since this salt should have help so much for digestion and working out. Honestly I really wish that there is really a realt salt as it is claimed in this world for all of us.
I understand where you are coming from. However, maybe you don't know how he was in the past. Just because something is healthy doesn't mean a person will be "fit" or "skin and bones". I know some vegans that are as big as me if not bigger. Unless you delve into their medical history I wouldn't judge on appearances.
We have only had a good experience with all of their products and meeting them personally we can only speak to how wonderful we know them to be. Have a blessed new year ✨️ 🙏

Thanks for sharing this. We enjoy Redmond salt but enjoyed hearing more about it from the company itself.

Ohhhh.... Also, what we learned about their benonite clay helped us heal one of our birds after the others tore its head open to the skull.

We were able to get a lot of their products to try. We can't wait to share them. Thanks for stopping by and watching these thoughtful Summit videos.
1/4 teaspoon of real salt 2x per day + 1-2 servings humic/fulvic minerals (vital earth brand) = most hydrated I’ve ever been 😍
Redmond real salt is AMAZING!! It really helped us when we had to work outside in the heat wave we had.
love my Redmond products
That are really the best! If you don't already have a discount code when buying their products, we have one I the show notes below video to use 😊

It is crazy what the FDA and OMRI requirements are. Kind of scary don't you think?

The bag of Redmond I have says "does not contain iodine a necessary nutrient".....
Redmond Mineral Salt #10 Fine is wonderful salt! I use it on my food.
We were a fan prior to this visit. Now even bigger fans of their product

@@dandydonslife9869 i seriously doubt that. What source was it from? 🤔
@ give me a e-mail or some link that I can send to you.
Which one do you use fine or kosher salt? Is there a difference? Thanks
We use both. The difference is just the size of the grind

Lol.... It's name is officially Toe-mahawk 😁
Out of curiosity… How is this different from like that pink Himalayan salt? 🤷🏼♀️

Why did my doctor tell me to reduce my salt intake due to hypertension?
Because most people use salt that doesn't have the healthy minerals that your body actually needs to absorb nutrients better...it's a much healthier salt. When people go to the hospital very ill....salt is in the IV.

So many negative reviews of this salt on Amazon say there is dirt in the salt. They even provide pictures.

Morons write the reviews on Amazon. Read dinner books. Inform yourselves.
That's the minerals!
Exactly. They're expecting Sifto or Mortons.
They address that on their website. I was wondering the same thing. It's a mineral that doesn't dissolve and it very healthy so they leave it in
