- Im Leipziger Zoo wurden Anfang 2009 drei kleine Tigerbabys geboren.
Lange waren sie in den rückwärtigen Anlagen, vor den neugierigen Augen der Besucher, versteckt.
Jetzt kann man sie sehen und der Andrang ist gigantisch.
Die Aufnahmen waren deshalb sehr schwer, weil man im Minutentakt angerempelt wurde.
Ich hoffe sie sind trotzdem sehenswert und wünsche viel Spaß damit!

The cubs are adorable. Their paws are already huge. Cubs are more restless than their parents but they soon learn to sleep twenty hours a day!🐯🐯

Fell ist eines der schönsten, die ich mir vorstellen kann - man muss diese Tiere einfach mögen!

In the German and French zoos they do everything the right way. They even allow the fathers to live with their families. Irrespective if they are tigers, lion or snow leopards.
Dan lástima esos grandes felinos verlos en zoológicos al menos el tigre que es un animal que en su medio natural recorre grandes kilómetros para cazar y está siempre en actividad y en esos zoológicos están restringidos en espacio y en acción que su instinto salvaje les pide.... igualmente el león.... aunque el león sólo está en actividad cuando cumple su función de protector de su familia en contra de otros depredadores o cuando pelea con otros leones por territorio ó por defender su posición de jefe de familia..... en caso contrario se la pasa durmiendo incluso hasta 20 horas porque a diferencia del tigre que es un cazador solitario los leones que tienen una manada no cazan las que cazan son las leonas aunque algunas veces también participan de la caza pero esto no es la regla sino la excepción...... Creo que a los animales hay que protegerlos pero en su medio natural y no en zoológicos.

Die Filmaufnahmen waren schwierig, da die Tigerbabys damals die Puplikumslieblinge waren und ich von einer Holzbrücke filmte. Da rammelten und drängelten die ganze Zeit die Besucher.

in the wild they would be killed, it's better to live in an enclosure than be dead
It's true but their chances of survival in the wild is very slim. A dead tiger is worth a lot to a poacher, could probably feed his family for a long time. As much as we like to see them in their natural habitat, the reality is, it's too dangerous for them. The black rhinos from 100 of thousands in the 70's to almost extinct now..sad! Same with tigers.
Ich denke das es einfach einer Ausbildung als Tierpfleger bedarf. Aber wer weiß wie es im Zoo läuft und ob man sich da eine bestimmte Tiergattung heraussuchen kann, eher nicht.

Schön, dass die Tiger Family jetzt wieder im größeren Gehege ist. Dann wird der Tiger-Papa bald wieder zur Panorama-Scheibe schwimmen und die Besucher begrüßen. Das Video ist - wie alle anderen Aufnahmen - einzigartig und sehenswert.

god's creatures !! really, how do you know when you can not even prove that a god exist, at least i saw santa claus when i was young and i have pictures to prove it.
Weil es in den Tropen ja zum Glück nie regnet und so auch gar kein Schlamm oder Matsch entsteht.
Supertolle Aufnahmen - zum Anfaßen nahe. Super Bildschärfe - toller Titelvor- und Abspann.
Da macht so ein Tigerleben doch gleich doppelt Spaß: faulenzen oder auf der faulen Haut liegen.
Faszinierend auch dieses Katzenhafte dieser Raubtiere, die man in Kindertagen einfach knuddeln möchte ohne deren spätere Gefährlichkeit dabei zu bedenken.

Lovely cubs. Great video! The zoo is well maintained! We filmed wild sub adult cubs in the Indian forest of Bandhavgarh. They were the sons of the tigress named Dotty. We named these cubs as Amar, Akbar and Anthony. Named after a famous characters of a Bollywood movie! An amazing experience!

The inclousures are huge therebis even a second one you cant see in the video. The backstage is also big enought (i know because the zoo has a tv seies) those are tigers born in captivity and as such they cant have a better life than this .
