I moved to Arizona a little over a year ago when I found these beautiful birds. Love to see them all together. Thanks for the video

It's strange to think Dick Cheney mistook his lawyer for a Quail.
    Beautiful video.

Utterly amazing how quickly they develop over two weeks. I was expecting to see their numbers decrease. So tickled to see them 8 strong! Looked like the water hole was man made. Nice for the critters.

Even a snake has no interest in those nasty wasps. LOL The quail is my absolute favorite bird. I love the angle at around the 05:23 and 06:30 marks. It is amazing to see how much they grow in just days.

Great close up footage! Your camera(s?) placement is so good. Must not be too many roadrunners and ravens around there...

I actually get Roadrunners there every day. They started with 9 Quail first few days then went down to 8. 17 days later and still at 8.

Somewhat painful, I am in North Phoenix and the neighborhood is full of quail. I see a hatch and follow and every couple days the clutch shrinks a little. I know it is nature but still hurts a bit.

I love this video! Thank you so much for posting it. I wonder where the momma quail is though? 😕 Great job by the papa quail!! ❤️

She is there but just out of view of the camera. I believe she is the one who kept guard for danger.

I love gambel's quail - there are several small family groups that go through my backyard as part of their daily trek foraging for food and water - the baby chicks are always so cute but they grow so fast!

That's pretty amazing. I can't believe how well the lens captures the details of the bees, too.

    The chicks are with Dad.

Yes! The mom always hangs back, probably watching for danger?

The families I had go through, the dad was the lookout and mom stayed with the brood. I'm surprised to see dad take the lead with these little ones.@@JasonMillerOutdoors
