My first 2 pistol gun purchases were a Glock 17 Gen 4 and a Canik TP9Sfx. The Canik has always been perfect. It has never jammed. I must have put 1000 rounds through it since I got it in August of 2020. I do minor cleaning and maintenance but nothing too extreme with that gun. It is one of my favorites to shoot but, sometimes I forget about it for a few months and then it gets put back in the range day rotation.
Im a glock fan and have the glock 23 and 29! I bought the Canik whiteout and just fell in love! I have 5 now! No doubt a fine firearm out of the box not to mention they give you so much with your purchase!
I love my Rival Darkside but we cannot forget how awesome the original TP9SFX is a pistol. It is still one of the best shooting guns available, so it should definitely not be overlooked or overshadowed by any of the newer guns.
I did the same back to back trial but with the Rival SFX. While I liked the weight of the MR920, I felt really comfortable with the Rival SFX. I did a lot of research and have chosen the TTI Combat as my first gun to purchase.
I swore off striker pistols a long time back because I absolutely hated the Glock that I had bought. It sucked. Bad trigger and equally bad sights. Then, I read about Canik and saw that every reviewer I followed had nothjing but kudos for the, and I bought an plain Jane SFX. I was immediately shooting better than I had with any other pistol, including my beloved P89 and P95. Now, I am a Canik fan. Was going to buy an SC Elite for my new carry pistol, when the MC9L and LS debuted. Now it's going to be the LS for me. 17 rounds is good, but I have 10 21 rounders that will work with the LS. And I found it online for just $419, only $20 more than the SC Elite. SOLD!!!
Not sure what it is called but I would call the one in the thumbnail the "R2-D2" model. IMO, Canik probably overall gives you the absolute biggest bang for the buck when it comes to quality/price.
The Rival and Rival S are amazing guns . I have the TTI as well. I give my Rival S the nod over the TTI Combat in overall performance at the range for me. The TTI grips are noticeably better .
I too have been a Glock user for over 20 years. As an officer and shooting enthusiast, I have had a lot of time behind a lot of pistols. I now own a polymer Rival and the Steel Rival. These pistols are absolutely phenomenal and very under rated. My Canik Rivals shoot with my Tanfoglio pistols at a third of the price.
I hate these AI voiced video, but this is a good one nonetheless. Canik pistols compete way out of their league. I've a number of carry-sized pistols, including my 29-year old, gen 2.5 subcompact Glock 26 & 27, as well as the compact 19 & 23. I also have a Kimber Ultra Aegis II subcompact 1911 for that mood, and an amazing subcompact 2011 that we'll leave out of this as it's in a completely different league. Then we get to 'micro 9's', a newer category of pistol. My wife has a Sig Sauer P365XL Rose Edition, as well as a Kimber Micro 9, a micro 9 sized 1911 type pistol. I have a Canik Mete ("Meh tae", not "meet") MC9 and both my wife and I agree that the $400 MC9 (I have one with the bronze top end) shoots easier and more comfortably than her Kimber or her Sig, both of which cost double or more what the Canik costs. I've just broke 2000 rounds through the MC9 without a single malfunction (knock on wood!). The friend that introduced me to Canik also owns the MC9 and loves it. I shoot carry optics with a Sig P320 X-Five Max, and my brother-in-law recently purchased the Canik Rival-S model and I can attest to the fact that it is every bit as capable as the $600 more expensive Sig. In fact, I believe the number 1 and 2 carry optics competitors in USPSA/IPSC shoot the same model Sig and that model Canik. People may give Canik crap as they do every new brand. But as I said above, Canik firearms compete way out of their league. Can recommend 100%. Note: I completely disagree about Number 1. The Rival/Rival-S should be number one. I won't get into it as I'm not going to dis Canik or Taran, but will just say I'm not a single, huge barrel port/muzzle weight combo fan.
The original Canik MC9 was a bust! Had 2 of them, and they both jammed repeatedly. Traded them each time for their Full-Size firearms. I love their Full-Size models. I've had zero issues. Just ordered the mc9LS, and hopefully it will be better than the original MC9.
I had to send mine into century arms for warranty work and they replaced the barrel with a much better feed ramp and replaced the recoil spring again. around 250 rounds and no more jams.
My Rival S has performed flawlessly and I shot probably at least 3000 rounds or more and not all the same ammo the only thing it didn’t like was the aluminum case ammo which isn’t good for your extractor anyway
I conceal carry a SFX RIVAL on my appendix with no Holster. No problems. Man up ladies. Skip to 10:10 and conceal carry this amazing, better than anything I have owned, gun.
I am Canik-fanatik. I own 6 different models. All of them unblemished performance handguns. My 3 favorites are: *the TP9 Elite SC, the METE SFT PRO, and top of the line TTI Combat.* Outstanding platforms beating the competition by producing high quality guns at affordable prices! GO CANIK!
MC9, TP9 Elite SC, Rival S, and TTI Combat. All shoot well. The only issues I ever had were with the TTI Combat. Got a new recoil spring and it came quickly. Good customer services with Canik as well.

I have 3... Mete, Rival and Elite (with Taylor Freelance bling)... the best triggers!!!
I never owned a glock but i do own a whiteout.. love that freaking gun i also got the miami night and Miami day in the tp9
not a glock fan boy, so when i saw the canik, it was a done deal for me. currently own 2. the tp9sf elite and the mete sf for edc.
I love my Rival Darkside but we cannot forget how awesome the original TP9SFX is a pistol. It is still one of the best shooting guns available, so it should definitely not be overlooked or overshadowed by any of the newer guns.
I shot a Shadow System MR920 and a Canik TP9SF Elite back to back and the Canik is hands down the more accurate and the triggers is perfect!
I did the same back to back trial but with the Rival SFX. While I liked the weight of the MR920, I felt really comfortable with the Rival SFX. I did a lot of research and have chosen the TTI Combat as my first gun to purchase.
@ Also, the TP9SF Elite is one third of the price which makes it an extremely great value!
I have the TTI. Great gun!! Thanks!
I'm a canik fan and just bought the canic tp9sfx. awesome gun for orice😅😊
its a beauty my guy, hope you enjoy it.
The Best Caniks I have are SF, Elite SC, MC9 great guns..
I got my sfx rival that looks exactly like the #3 shown this passed summer & love it
Excellent thorough review.
Can we get a compact TTI?

I have the Elite Combat. Absolutely love it!
Me to the tp9 elite combat elven dagger✌️
Not sure what it is called but I would call the one in the thumbnail the "R2-D2" model. IMO, Canik probably overall gives you the absolute biggest bang for the buck when it comes to quality/price.

Have to Canik, and can't wait for more
I'd like to have it all! *Canik is a raising star with pretty high performance and low price range in pistol market.
I’m definitely gonna get that combat version
The TTI is sweet! Like one myself!
SAME HERE
Just research them first. I've heard they're picky with ammunition. Failure to feed, failure to go back to battery. Sorry that was the TTI combat.
@@Whiskeybende what type of ammunition would you suggest hotter loads 124 grains maybe
It’s a great gun. Have about 500 rounds thru it. No issues at all
I too have been a Glock user for over 20 years. As an officer and shooting enthusiast, I have had a lot of time behind a lot of pistols. I now own a polymer Rival and the Steel Rival. Top 8 Caniks to get... Names them all 😂 👏 👏 👏
We need a larger aftermarket
I have tp9 elite combat executive and tp9sfx. I use the sfx for competition and my son uses the combat we love them both

SFX Rival compact please 🙏🏿

I've heard that problem is due to either the mag or the ammo used even though I've never had that problem with mine.
I had to send mine into century arms for warranty work and they replaced the barrel with a much better feed ramp and replaced the recoil spring again. around 250 rounds and no more jams.
The King of the Hill is the Canik Steel frame. It is the best shooter and the hardest to get.
Have the TTI on its way 😅
I just got the SFX RIVAL with red dot. It’s a great gun .❤
My Rival S has performed flawlessly and I shot probably at least 3000 rounds or more and not all the same ammo the only thing it didn’t like was the aluminum case ammo which isn’t good for your extractor anyway
Canik are decent cheaper guns but all snappy imo
I have the tti. Its such a gorgeous gun
❤CANIK METE MC9 & SF & SFT & TTI combat❤❤❤❤ excellent pistols accurate excellent trigger
sfx rival s had some serious jamming issues.
never had any issues with mine
I have the six rival s dark horse I love it
Sfx stupid auto correct
love my steel frame rival.
5 *
I conceal carry a SFX RIVAL on my appendix with no Holster. No problems. Man up ladies. Skip to 10:10 and conceal carry this amazing, better than anything I have owned, gun.

I Have the rival darkside sfx s. Love it
The Rival-S is much better than the TTI. Shit my regular Rival with a ported barrel shoots much better than the TTI.
Gonna have to go with, I agree. Accuracy and reliability, I prefer my Rival S over my TTI as well.
I love canik meat 🥩
MC9, TP9 Elite SC, Rival S, and TTI Combat. All shoot well. The only issues I ever had were with the TTI Combat. Got a new recoil spring and it came quickly. Good customer services with Canik as well.
8.8 inch Canik "meat." That's a lot to hold in ya hands...
It feels good to know I don't have a problem now. SFx, Mete SFx, Rival - S, and the MC-9. And eyeballing a TTi.
TP9 Elite Combat, SF Elite, Rival Dark Side
As a Canik fanatic i must know what model that is in the thumbnail. I think my next Canik will be the mc9l.
Yeah kinda like the " meat " guns. 🍖 🥓 🥩 pretty sure that's not how it's pronounced.
The AI voice is really bad…
This ai voice crap is getting out of control.
