Very cool process. I have always wondered how the detection system works. Thanks for bringing us along. Stay hydrated!
This is what people who live in northern climates just don't understand ....
Summer ..... it's a thing.
I absolutely love these longer videos keep it up be safe
Sweet! Only thing is I'd expect you to use safety straps on any tools in your hands hanging over moving traffic, a dropped wrench (or worse) piercing through a windshield wouldn't be cool..
Being new to your channel and this environment, it would have been nice had you explained why just tightening The mounting screws was going to fix the situation. I didn't understand it until you went into the box and showed the video feed with the boxes skewed out of alignment.
Love your vids! It’s always cool to see how these work!😊
Awesome video and love seeing the whole process.
Thank you for fixing that intersection and any future work you’re doing soon on it! Greatly appreciated as I pass through many times a day😂 have definitely learned a lot by watching your channel
Dedeaux Road & Lorraine-Cowan Road. Nice view.
great content, love these longer videos! never was a fan of the ''climb in'' buckets, always preferred the ones with the door in the side, alot easier to get into with all the gear.
I'm not in municipal infrastructure, but I love the detail in your videos. Although this isn't my line of work, I've subscribed. Keep up the great videos!
A word of caution. Do not ever have your tools sitting in the cab. If you should be unfortunate enough to be in a TC they become lethal projectiles.
Watching these me me happy 😃
Better get the AC fix in that bucket truck that must suck wen it is hot with out AC
Bucket trucks are some of the most abused and least maintained vehicles. Unless you have a good company that tries to take care of the equipment. 😊
I'd love to hang out for a few days Onsite. Love this stuff.
great job
Out here in phoenix area, anytime work needs to be done like this, traffic must be closed under the work and police have to be there to monitor. You can not just fo above like you did.
super cool channel
I'd have to tie everything off to myself or the bucket, or I'd end up dropping a wrench on a car passing under the bucket for sure. 😂
Watching you tightening the screws and bolts, makes me wonder, have you ever dropped your tools on the road?
How often do you drop tools from the mast area?
Surprised you guys aren’t rocking the Panasonic ToughBook
Is this all scada as well so the traffic center can control in real time remotely and configure remotely? Ive seen the phoenix ans peoria az traffic centers and find it so awesome how they can see and control and adjust in real time 50 miles away.
I'm surprised you don't have fleet dash cams on the trucks.
Steve, no stereo and no a/c I would've been like nope i'm not operating the bucket truck i'd be writing it up as unsafe to drive lol No Stereo is a big Out of service for me same with the a/c lol.
I miss flip out vent windows on cars lol
one of the tell tale signs the employer doesnt care about employees, work vehicles with AC broken. but they dont care, the guys that make decisions about if things like this get fixed, sit in AC offices all day.
What happens when you drop a tool on someone’s car…
Is that why with intersections with the lights and you're on a bicycle in the bicycle lane it doesn't pick you up because I've had trouble at intersections here in my town where when I'm in the bike lane it doesn't pick me up unless I'm in the lane for the car
We have one of those. Funny, it used to work. Someone /Fixed/ (both directions) it :(
When you are programming the detection zones, do you enter x,y,z coordinates or is it a GUI/drag-and-drop operation?
No AC in Mississippi? Inhumane working conditions!
Dude who do I yell at to get a light reprogrammed?
There's a bug where the higher speed road in one direction gets put through a brief (3 sec?) red light cycle in the straight thru while it sets up for a left arrow. So grn > yel > red > "immediate" green again with the arrow. *Really* annoying and I'd have thought someone that knew would have said something by now (its been months)... but here I am asking lol
Contact the state highway department. They all have websites where you can submit a report. They’ll know if it’s their signals or not-if it’s not, they’ll tell you who’s responsible for it.
@@macmedic892Ok cool, thanks.
Also want to say nice videos, only seen a couple but having done field work in a few other areas, I appreciate these and while I knew there was much more going on in there than the once rotating switch assembly... I didn't realize it was this complex... somehow lol... my background is even technical and somehow those boxes still seemed simpler inside 🤣🤷♂️
Get that ac fixed! BL
So, I couldn't do this job because I'm deathly afraid of heights but also? I'm a klutz. I'd be dropping those tools all the time.
You used your cresent wrench the wrong way.👽
AC doesn't work in an international? Say it ain't so 😂
The warehouse I work in a lot of logistics contractors got rid of all their International trucks, especially after the 6.0 & 6.4 Powerchoke engines.
@@garcjr they're as bad as a BMW.. check engine lights ALWAYS on.(So is his) Never fails
tell me about it! freightliner for the win!! lol to bad international is alot more affordable up front just cost more in the long run!
I love being an optimistic tech it saves me so much hate and agony haha. “Someone left the screw loose” couldn’t be that screws often come loose from vibrations. But I’m just yapping 🫡
I like to rant when I’m fixing things 🤣 sure it’s possible but then I wouldn’t be able to complain!
Wow, in the Navy when we "go aloft" we have to have all our tools lanyarded to us. Surprised you can be over lanes with loose hand tools! Certainly makes it easier...
Literally all I was thinking…..how does he not have them lanyard. Imagine dropping a wrench on someone
