Yes! The bathroom drain cover is an essential. Best $1 I ever spent.
spot on as usual
UV sleeves. Coming from Wisconsin, the intense sun has been the hardest thing to get used to
I would go with DRINKING WATER, that is definitely the very 1st thing I was literally forced to buy every week/month.
there's the reverse osmosis machines on the street also
I lived in San Diego Ca and everyone I know, even the poor bought water. Some had it delivered and others used water refilling vending machines. Used to be 10 cents 15 yrs ago, it was up to 45 cents when we moved this year.
All excellent points . Thank you.
Very welcome
First! Again, this video was right on time as I prepare for my travels!
Perfect!
Air purifier for me.
Thanks. l'll skip the risk and the danger and stick with my pickup truck. I'm not in that much of a hurry to get anywhere. 😂
Bum gun. First and foremost.
Have not watched the video yet. Is aspirin on the list? Unavailable here.
Not sure about aspirin, but I would imagine they would have it.

I’m sure.
You can only buy it in these bogus little packets that have two crushed aspirin in a powder. Ask the local pharmacy. See what they say.
u can buy that even on 7 eleven. as many other pills and remedy's for virtually nothing..their motion sickness pills are very good
@@TheNarrowGate Replied on my phone, didn't work. I'm sure about it. Aspirin is basically illegal, other than this packet of two crushed aspirin that is a hassle to even open.
Drain covers also help keep the snakes out. Also, every time you re enter Thailand you must report to immigration.
Also cockroaches
I'm living in Ao Nang/Krabi. A dehumidifier is a must in the rainy season.
When you apply for the Non-Immigrant O-A Retirement Visa, there's a box you need to check for multiple entries. You can then leave and re-enter as much as you like during the Visa's validity without having to reapply.
Thumbs up 👍 Tony
Thanks 👍
You make a really good point concerning the drain cover. Many condos and flats in Thailand lack a U-shaped P-trap in the drains unless the owner installed one, which allow for direct access to sewer drains and foul-smelling bathrooms. Building codes in Thailand do not require the installation of these traps. Thus, before renting or purchasing, enquire about it.
Very uncommon with power surges in the citys same with needing draincovers ...your tips are mainly about someone that owns a house.
Bad AIR is a problem, and i go for kn95 masks worst days ..a white mask is gray after walking around in chang mai couple of hours under hat season
As for most things u buy they are about 40-60% cheaper than in the west..
Love people that come with 2 full suitcases and discover that the ost they have is A LOT cheaper and often better or same quality here in Thailand.(love the American lady that did bring toiletpaper and shampoo and soap in one suitcase =) )
@@gmm5550 Thx for this comment because I was debating on whether to fill up suitcases full of stuff too. Lol
@@belindabelinda7463 haha i know many that travel to Thailand and Vietnam only with hand luggage..and buy a cheap big suitcase for all the stuff clothes' shoes when they go home.
I'm always curious how many outlets aren't grounded properly.
Good content as always. Didn't even know that there was a re-entry permit. I just got approved for the DTV, wondering if it’s got multiple entries included
Definitely find out way before you leave the country again.
A great set of tips. Several I have not heard before. Thank you for your help.
Glad it was helpful!
Awesome Sauce.
🙌
Are the things like drain cover and power backup needed in Bangkok too or just Chiang Mai?
I would think you would need those anywhere in Thailand but if somebody knows for sure on here, please speak up.
had very few power outs the 15 years i been workig and living in bangkok..and well.. u dont need cover drains that in a condo..its more for houses on groundfloor
