Also, if I were a sovereign citizen, I'd be going out of my way to invest into having a sustainable form of living (e.g. planting my own food, solar power, collecting rain water, using a bike/horse/wagon to travel, a moveable home like a shipping container tiny house on wheels that I can hire someone to move if need be). But the vast majority of Sovereign citizens don't think like that. They're too lazy. And everything I mentioned requires hard work and money (acquired by holding a regular job), discipline, and delayed gratification. I was a service manager for various Chevrolet dealerships over the years, and I can assure you there’s more damage to that truck now than just a tire. And just when he was going to take the entry exam for the kindergarten.
But then he won't pay the mechanic, and the Mech will have to take out a Mechanic's Lien on it, effectively tangling it up against the other lien, making the car legally unsellable, and physically useless.
He just wanted to make sure he notified a many people of this embarrassing life moment as possible. I'd be half tempted to put the truck back down and sit there asking if he needed a tow.
This is what happens when you live in a car centric country. You are trapped in your house unless you can afford a car. you cannot get a job unless you have a car. So if you are to poor to afford a car a repo comes to take your lively hood a way and then you cannot afford to pay for your bills. and then through stress you end up having a mental brake down.
He knew that SUV was going nowhere anyways and the cops are coming. Dude was getting violent so he just let the dude have his ruined truck. What happened was he blew out a tire and overheated the engine, that suburban is totaled and from the sounds of it he turned his rear diff into dust.
It may be more than that. I imagine there is differential damage, AND being up a a severe angle like that and redlining the engine of that nearly 20 year old Suburban, there could be oil pickup problems and engine damage. Possible transmission issues as well .Needless to say it was not a good idea to do that.

What people do not realize is that when you are making payments on a vehicle, you do not own it yet. So I am pretty sure you can be charged for doing something like that. You are a co-owner on a vehicle purchased by the bank, they hold the lien title on it, it's *your* car as long as the payments are being made on it, the title is in your name. when the bank acts on the lien it means the loan holder has failed to meet the requirements of the loan and they force the DMV to transfer the title back to the bank and it becomes their property. During the period the car is under repossession you are driving the banks car, any damage you do to it is a criminal act.

The drivetrain blew. It was a RWD, so there's no way for it to drive. If it was a 4WD, he could have escaped the tow truck much more easily.
