Beautiful journal and nice things!! 🥰😍❤️👍👍👍
Thank you! 🤗
Happy December!!! I am doing a December Daily journal for the first time this year! You have some beautiful vintage things to use! The only things I have are scrapbook paper, wrapping paper, stickers, greeting cards (newish though, not like your beautiful cards) embellishments and napkins. Looking forward to seeing how yours progresses!!! 🎅🏼🎄
Good luck on your December Daily! I’m pretty sure I’m going to miss some days, but I’m going to try to do as many as I can.
I think you have everything you need; there are so many videos on YT, lots of inspiration so see wht others document ... but dont be intimidated by what they do - do your own thing! Mostly (as this is your first) make a list of items to document and keep it simple so you can keep up with it daily or at least weekly. I also include the yearly Christmas stamps issued and the card I send out as well the cards I receive, Christmas day food(s), a page documenting presents received (I take one picture of them all together after opening), new decorations I purchase this year ... Carols I listen to, Christmas movies watch ... You get the idea. Good luck, I'm sure you'll get addicted to this tradition. Happy Holidays!
It will be beautiful, I'm sure - you have a nice collection of items for it. Have you noticed how the cards of yore were so much more elaborate and beautiful and such large variety in those days; not much like it these days - and much too expensive! I am not a fan of the rings; I create 3 signatures using cardstock & scrapbooking paper as my foundation (this gives me 30 pages) and I work from there. It will have more than 30 pgs of various sizes when I'm done (lots of tip-ins), and that's why I make the album + covers at the end. I find it easier to work with one set of pages (signature) at a time and making the album covers at the end prevents gaping as I make the spine size to accomodate its girth. Anyway, just some new deas for you as you create.
Making the cover at the end is a really good idea. It is definitely easier to work with a smaller set of pages at a time.
