Hi motoroctane team ! Which car would be worth to upgrade from Maruti Suzuki Ertiga ZXI+ 2016 variant. Requirements - Preference is SUV, Budget- 24 lakhs, 7 seater most preferable, need a overall feature upgrade. Running is not too much. Driven the current car 60000km in 8 years..
If engine reliability is not an issue, then go for tata safari, and if so, is the xuv700(as your requirements are features). I'm not from motoroctane. Just an enthusiast trying to help you out buddy.
If the budget is up to 24 lakhs, and you need a proper SUV, unnecessary features like panoramic sunroof are not your preference, do check the scorpio n

No need of Adas or Sunroof. Reliable engine first. Build quality second. Current interior feature is sufficient. Still Want to improve interior than do but with Reliable and long-lasting interior. And please price it under 25lkh to 35 lkh.

Engine option would be same as fortuner . 225 hp and 550 nm torque with 8 speed transmission instead of 6 . It comes with crawl control , centre and rear differential lock with off-road goodies from 300 series.

I think offering fortuner in hybrid technology like hycross will kill the sole purpose of the vehicle for which it was firstly built i.e. to be a offroading capable rough and tough all purpose suv for the developing markets...
