My favorite bit from this sketch is trevor only wanted $200 for his bribe
I was just thinking that haha it seemed like a lot when I first saw this as a 16 year old
Thats how you get them to pay.
This was 2007 before the subprime mortgage crisis, $200 was actually worth something
Economies of scale, if you do this with every abusive cult-like family in town it starts to add up and it's not enough money that any one person would complain.
This was filmed back in 2007 before the housing crisis really took off and cost of living hyper-inflated from there. $200 back then was like half a month's rent or house payment in a lot of places so it wouldnt've seemed unreasonable for a random low-level goverment worker to accept as a quick bribe to say he didn't find anything.
“My birthday comes every two years” so he’s actually 26 probably
No, hes 13, hes just saying hes only told his age every 2 years.
@@ghostisblack then how could his age be an odd number
@@hobbitninja easy. they skipped a year or started at year 1 or thousands of other possibilities lul
@@TheKrempist the joke is definitely that he's a 26 year old man being treated like a child
yup, thats why hes so old
the very first moment of freedom, and it's to make a mountain of chairs. They stacked so well too, he's thought about this for a while.
In the videos where they talk about their sketches they said the production team told him exactly how to stack the chairs safely. In the live shows Timmy just stacks them however he wants.
I’m just now realizing there’s a picture of chairs framed on the wall
I had never noticed that either. Do you think we're watching these sketches too much?
@@AlexanderGuckenberger not enough if you didn't notice a critical detail like that.
@@MajesticSkywhale XD
Yes, but it is only two chairs, standing side by side, in perfect union. It doesn't portray some chaotic, chair orgy.
because previously the Video had 3 whole pixels
When is his birthday? Nobody knows, but it only comes every two years!
I love that this instantly changes things to imply that he is at least 26 and being treated like this.
"...Your mother and I--" -- "AAAH!"
Gold.
he almost makes himself laugh with the scream
I never noticed the mom has a blackeye in this
Its cool to finally see those sketches in such high quality!
she fell down the stairs.
@@SpaceMissile and hurt her shoulder and eye
@@assburgers3457 she should really watch where she's going.
What a downfall. This channel used to have funny videos, now it's just personal videos from Timmy's childhood.
There are no Mormons in South Dakota
This comment was a rollercoasters
Ha.
@@thedarkangelthe2 underneath your comment, UA-cam/Google asks me if I want to translate your comment, "Ha." When I clicked translate, it said, "He has."
I wonder what language.
@@2525Kody There are no people in South Dakota
The quality reveals secrets previously unknown
yes indeed
The line about Timmy's birthday arriving every two years is one hell of a punchline. It's not a classic WKUK skit where he's playing a kid; he's literally playing an adult.
As an ex mormon, this is accurate. I always wanted to live on a mountain of chairs, but my parents wouldn't let me.
I assume being an ex Mormon now you're laughing atop your mountain of chairs. Sweet freedom mountain of chairs
So you now know your birthday and how old you really are?
*jack Mormon
Man dont feel bad I live in a big city and my mom still wont let me live on a mountain of chairs
I think you wanted to live on a granite mountain of chairs. ... I'll see myself out.
"Now I just see you" cracks me up every time, RIP Trevor, master of comedy
Are you the, RoachDoggJr?
@@hawley_7756 Yep. That’s DaRoachDogg’s little boy.
Now im seeing my way to the door
I like how this skit goes from a harmless kid wanting to live in a mountain of chairs to finding out the dark and abusive secrets in the kid’s family.
you...didnt see abuse until after the chairs?
Zach wiping off his hand isn't part of the sketch, just a normal reaction to touching Timmy.
It wasn't even a handshake. XD It was like a one-sided hand-grab. His hand was so limp! LOL
Well that's not very nice.
Thats rather mean spirited comment towards Timmy.
He actually only wipes the back of his hand, that didn't touch timmy, if you pay attention. Such a weird, surreal detail
@@linkinmusic559 Who the hell is Timmy?
Technically, the guy from Child Services had no jurisdiction since 13 birthdays "every two years" makes him 26 years old.
While true, he really needs those blinders and isn't going to ask how he gets them
Sam’s black eye and his scream when Zach touches him are really nice details
I never noticed that before cause all the videos of this sketch are like 144p
Thank god for these fellas uploading these again
SHUSH!
Your name means “always faithful, terrible lizard” but I get the point
@@scottydu81 I would like a trex friend
@@crinklediaper I never noticed until the HD that Timmy's Sin is a hot dog.
i just love that timmy doesnt even know his own bday in this sketch, that's such an unexpected but fitting detail for his character.
i used to think WKUK's use of editing and scene sequencing was their key to being unique, but a stripped down live sketch setting like this reveals that they're just plain funny.
His desperation for trying to figure out and write down what day of the year it was killed me
This is something Jehovah’s witnesses actually do IRL. I’m pretty sure it’s part of the joke.
I have screamed BRING ME THE DEVICE for years. I was so excited to see this finally uploaded
I always think "YOUUU! You displease me! Go to the 13th floor for torture!"
I want to see the device.
I disagree with Trevor, I think "Shine on, you crazy Mormons" is aces. Great stinger.
I like how all he wanted to do in this world was live on a mountain of chairs.
2:10 "It's my birthday and it only comes once every two years" lol
Loved the little subtle jokes they would slip in
"Shine on, You Crazy Mormons" is my favorite Pink Floyd song
“Shine on you crazy mormons”
It still feels so weird to see these videos in a higher quality than crayon
The way zack talks so aggressively is hilarious
The delivery at 2:07 is insane
the shush voice crack is amazing
Lol I love when the dad comes back in and screams “TIIIMMMOOOTTTHHHHEEEEAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!”
It cracks me up every time lol
Amazing. You can see Sam very dangerously break character several times in. I mean anyone would, in the circumstances. Zach was goddamn hilarious.
WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO CREATE SUCH A SPECIMEN
The picture of chairs on the wall explains so much.
haha nice! I didn't notice it
“Shine on, you crazy Trevor”
I’d love to hear the gang’s thoughts on absurdity, satire, and how their views on comedy have shifted over time. I love your work WKUK, it’s great seeing you getting together and giving us more insight to an underrated show.
“ BRING ME YOUR SIN TIMOTHY”
Bring me your sin Timothy!
The way Timmy sings is just so delightful lol
You can see Sam trying so hard not to laugh when he screams after his shoulder is touched.
Shine on you crazy Mormons is the greatest line ever
Aww, it's too bad Sam wasn't in on the quick retelling of this story... The way Sam screamed when touched on the shoulder, you could clearly see him trying to NOT smile right after doing it. 2 mormons as of this viewing, did not like the joke.
The way he wipes his hand off nonchalantly 😂😂
Wow the quality. On a wkuk sketch? Hot ziggy.
Like a decade later and still my favorite show.
I never saw the bruise on Sams eye before, amazing detail, love the HD
I'm so used to watching this sketch in 240p. This is awesome
I love how this was funny to me when I was 15, and still just as funny to me at 25. Maybe that say's something about me, but I think it says something more about the sketches. They were so on point and ridiculous.
This is my favorite WKUK sketch. The glorious HD is so fucking nice to see.
Lmaoo "Don't tare my family apart!" When cps comes
"Please tear my family apart!"
omg the photo of two chairs on the green wall lol
never noticed that
i love the look of the Fuse seasons, classic WKUK
I love how Timmy can play any age
“There is only one man who can keep these janga blocks from falling.”
“No! He’s vowed never to return to the life of expertly balancing things!”
How lovely that WKUK was able to catch my childhood in such stark HD!
So nice seeing these in good quality, thanks guys
I like how the father screams everything lol
Hes birthday comes every 2 years so this isnt suppose to be timmy the kid hes a 26 year old man
This is one of my favorite sketches and my friends and I will still say something about living on a mountain of chairs 15 years after seeing this.
My money is that guy wasnt CPS. Just a guy who heard shouting.
Imagine trying to describe this show’s humor
Seen this skit multiple times over years. How did I not notice until now they have framed picture of a gas can on the coffee table.
One of my favorite sketches!
I did this many years ago, my mountain was bigger
It's not the size, it's how you climb it.
"His birthday comes every two years" poor timothy is actually 26. Maybe that's a good thing, he went longer not being "punished as a man"
Zach got a good deal on blinders
The father reminds me of Ned Beatty's character, Arthur Jensen, in 'Network' when he's yelling at Finch's Howard Beale. He probably spoke to his son like that.
mister GLUDGE!
I met Timmy Williams the other night, I told him along with being a fan of WKUK since high school, I still think about this exact skit from time to time. He laughed. Great guy!
Zach is a fucking beast in this sketch. Just amazing.
Gonna miss you… shine on in the afterlife you crazy comedian.
RIP TREVOR WE LOVE YOU
Such a wholesome sketch.
It's good to see others also save their sin in a bag.
RIP Trevor Moore, gone way too soon.
I want to live on a mountain of chairs….
As a foster parent, I can confirm this is not far from reality and about as much as they care when they see signs of abuse. It’s more about reunification than safety for the child.
I never noticed that some of the chairs were busted up and and that they don't match until I watched it now. Oh the wondrous details this glorious quality reveal.
How did you get footage of Timmy’s upbringing??
Gloria. Bring me the DEVICE.
Can we talk about the quality!?! It's fucking awesone!
Trevor really lowballing it here
They went so deep with the world building and characters in this one, why
Timothy mountain chairs
I think Timothy is the voice on the children's show "Floogals".
R.I.P. Trevor Moore ❤️
RIP forever Trevor. You were my childhood.
Timmy looks exactly like the mother of this kid I once knew in high school. It's quite disturbing actually.
Well at least we know his father only hits his mother not him on account of never having physical contact with his son
The decor behind zack is chairs 😂
holy crap this escalated quickly
The most watched moment of this sketch is Sam screaming in terror and then holding back laughter
Still makes me laugh at the fact he says he is 13 and only has his birthday every 2 years...meaning he is 26.
"I have informed our neighbor, Mr. GLUDGE!!...
TImuhhtheeeee-uh!!!! I had a co worker named Timothy and me and other co workers who are fans of WKUK would say his name like that if he made a mistake... all in good fun .
"please tear my family apart, i don't know when my birthday is" 🤣🤣🤣
This sketch is... terrifying.
Lmao Timmy would be 26 if he's only had a birthday every 2 years
For rich people, this family sure has a ragtag assortment of chairs.
Joel sent me
Briiiing me the deviiiice! 😈
Holy crap. I just realized he said he only has a birthday every two years. That dude is 26years old. Poor poor Timothy.
WHAT HAVE YOU DONE
His birthday may only come every 2 years but they may be lying to him about how long a year is sooo we may never know how ol he is
