Thank you for making this video Katie, and thank you for mentioning my videos as well! I love Karla's channel so much! And I'll have to check out all the new channels and wonderful videos you've mentioned too. I feel like I've been living under a Booktube rock lately.
Wow thanks for the shout out and all these excellent recommendations! I'm planning a lot of classics reads so hopefully folks from this neck of the woods will find things of interest on my channel. Currently really enjoying your Dickens Christmas Books readalong 🎄
Lots of fantastic booktubers, some I already watch and found thanks to Victober and others who are new to me. Roy and Elizabeth really knocked it out of the park with their Victober content and Katja’s projects are very exciting. I’m not surprised you don’t make these videos consistently Katie as they must be so much work!
Thank you for the shout out, Katie 💛. I follow quite a few of the channels in this video but am surprised how many are new to me. I have a lot of booktube videos to watch this week! 🙏 I also just bought The Open Door - that gorgeous edition of MO stories you shared recently.
what joy - and unexpected, utter excitement - i felt when you gave me a shoutout! i feel so welcomed by you into this lovely booktube community. thank you for making it such a warm and inviting space on the internet. love your videos - you have a loyal supporter in me:)
Thank you!! What a great resource this list will be. And thank you again - and to the other hosts too - for another amazing Victober . I agree that Elizabeth’s video on Margaret Oliphant was excellent. But I enjoyed everything I watched. I only read one book - The Prime Minister - pure joy and amazement at Anthony Trollope’s skill.
This is fantastic, I'm already following several of the channels you shouted out but there are a few new there that I now look forward to exploring. Excellent to find more classics readers 😀👍
what an amazing collection of youtubers and videos! rly appreciate u including my modernism video - i feel like i just made that truly bc i wanted to lol but im so glad other ppl are finding something good in it! thanks for always being so positive & community minded!
What a list! Lots to add to the TBW. I adore Jane Austen July, but anytime is a good time for her, followed by Austen August and Jane-uary is just around the corner. I'm getting used to seeing your new bookcase--but I keep expecting the decorative "K" to be behind your right shoulder in its full glory. Ha!
Another reason I love watching your amazing channel as you have just posted a video with amazing content love 🥰 it love 🥰 your Aussie family friend John xxx
I read a good short story by Edith Nesbit, The Girl in the Tobacconist Shop, dated, but the title struck my interest, as among my many jobs was one in a tobacco shop in the nineteen-seventies, the walk-in humidor smelled wonderful, in fact all tobacco smells wonderful until someone smokes it.
I watched Nicole's from Noteworthy Fiction last video just before yours and I thought "I hope Katie will mention her" and there it was, right at the beginning of it! 😊 I usually watch older videos when I discover a new channel or when I'm preparing for a reading event like Jane Austen July or Victober, so to me is just perfect if you recommend videos from a few months ago. I was wondering if you ever watched Jerome Weiselberry's channel (that's the name of it). She makes videos mostly about film but she also comments on books and has some extraordinary playlist about Jane Eyre and its different adaptations and she also reviewed adaptations from Jane Austen novels. You may enjoy her videos as well.
Jenna from @BooksloveJenna did a longer form video on why 'Wuthering Heights' is a love story, for Victober. I'm not a fan of the book but it's a well argued video.

They're so fun to make, and I keep an ongoing list, but it's definitely hard to keep track of all the wonderful videos out there on Booktube.

Haha, I probably move around the ornaments here and there, too, which won't help with that!
so many wonderful people in one video!

I don't know that channel, so I'll look it up :)
Thanks so much for your kind words, Katie! It was such a fun project to do for Kate! 😊 I’m so glad you enjoyed it!
It was so cool - what a fun and interesting thing to do, to track down a piece of music mentioned in a novel :)
@ 😄❤️
⚛️❤
Gosh there are actually booktubers here I have never watched as well as videos I missed. I shall enjoy working through them all. Thank you.

Yes! That's in my watch later playlist 😅 I'm terrible at getting to long videos promptly.
I love Charlotte @CoynieReads and Willow @WillowTalksBooks , and @Fortheloveofclassics is another classic lover BookTuber I love.
Wonderful Booktubers :)
