I think the draft from that truck and trailer combo pushed him just enough that it scared him to the point of inaction which, in turn, saved his ass off road. He didn't panic brake or anything he just rode that bitch to a stop. EDIT: Nevermind, I watched it again, he literally disconnected. He fell asleep and you can see his head drop and come back to full attention as he gets blown off the road.
@@rgh622 on another compilation the rider explained that there were extremely high winds and i think he said a couple semi trucks overturned cause of the wind, and it pushed him right off the road. He didn't want to steer right too hard im guessing cause the wind would blow his wheels out from under him
As a rider myself I can easily say that while most of these are mainly the fault of negligent drivers, the riders were either not exercising proper caution or going too fast. Never assume. Stay alert, stay safe.

When you come to a stop always look behind you, because a car can't stop half as quick as a motorcycle! But that old guy was on his ass thinking its a car not a motorcycle! That old guy should not be driving. He was totally at fault! Also just to add I don't know what country you are from but were I am from when you hit 80 you have to take a drivers test to prove you are senile enough to be on the road! It is true that 99% of drivers have no clue whats going on but thats because of smart phones, radio and other reasons. This guy was just old and had no idea what was going on, this happens when you get old! Hence the 80 year old driving test!
@@grinkster I live in Tennessee. My grandmother is 97 and she lives in Arkansas and drives herself around she just got her license renewed last week curiously enough she got them renewed for 8 years. She's a tough old bird love her to death anybody tries to hurt her I'll make a special trip to Arkansas which I have never been to beat the holy hell out of that person. She's sharp as a tack and you don't want to get on her bad side but she's one of the best people on the planet with a big heart and I love her to death

Proper Spelinng flash your tail light and watch your mirrors. Stay in gear. If you see someone coming in hot, hit it. This is why you need a bike with at least some juice. You gotta be able to get out of the way. I stay to a side in my lane and ready to take off.
1:10 when you see you've underestimated a turn, you can just slightly scrape the front brake, just a little, that way you'll slow down a bit and won't slip away too.
