In the Heartstopper Comics Ben has no character growth ever though, he basically disappears from the story after the sexual assault part from season 1 until he appears in Solitaire. (Kinda confusing timeline-wise because Solitaire was published first but is set another year ot so in the future from the point we're at now.) So maybe it's just seperate now.

I love how much Tori cares for Nick because of how much of an amazing person he’s been to Charlie whom she cares most likely most for in her life, since it’s clear she isn’t close with her parents. But I love how at the GCSC completion party when Nick loses Charlie and Tori finds out, Nick understands Tori is a bit scared and he reassures her that he will find her, and she responds with telling him that he doesn’t look so well. Just goes to say that even if the show doesn’t exactly zoom in on their relationship, they still care for each other

Solitaire was legit Alice’s first novel and Heartstopper was just supposed to be like an extra little twist on Tori’s brother and his struggles but now it’s turned into a universe and many other books have been made with many different characters, but I do wish in Heartstopper they could show some of Tori’s mental health issues and problems since after all, the whole universe did start with her!

asexual is feeling “little to no sexual attraction”. it’s an umbrella, also encompassing demisexual like i am, where i only feel sexual attraction after developing a close emotional bond.

I love how all the characters interacted with each other. Such a great friend group to watch. It felt like they all bounced off each other a lot more this season. Can not wait for a third season ❤️

Actually its more complicated then that: being aromantic often go together with asexual, but its not always the case. And people like that can still be in a relationship or having sex, every person is different and can feel aroace but on different levels. I suggest you to read Loveless, which is in the same universe as Heartstopper. Alice explained it very well in that book.

Darcy's mom is abusive. It broke my heart to see Darcy suffer like this... In my opinion, the way abuse (and the reactions) are portrayed is very accurate. The sound goes blur, as well as the images etc...
Darcy’s story kind of reminds me of Luke’s from Julie and the phantoms. Luke left his home and it kind of reminds me of Alex’s when his family kicks him out for being gay.. that’s the backstory of Alex but we know Darcy’s is pretty close to that expect not an abusive mom

I just want to say, thank you to Alice. This show has been a delight and positive force in my life. Although I am way older than these characters, I learn a lot from them. I wish there was a show like this when I was growing up and finding myself. I watch this show over and over. Every time, I discover something new. I wish it could continue forever, but I understand that all good things must come to an end. I can't wait to see season three. It's going to hard to say goodbye to these wonderful onscreen friends. There's another trip to another famous European destination, I hope it happens in S3. I think we'll be living another rollercoaster of emotions next year. They've done an amazing job with S1 and S2, I hope S3 keeps the track.
I just hope that in season three we explore more of Charlie’s mental health. Although it will be sad i feel like it would work really well with Charlie’s story. Bc nick dose look up “Eating Disorders” so i feel like that would work well within the story line for Charlie . I do also would like to add i hope we get to meet Mr.Geoff

I have this hunch for season 3....it's probably not going happen since its unrealistic but at the end of season 2 when Charlie was gonna send "I love you" to Nick, I think he'll send it, but on his way home he'll get kidnapped 😭 I don't want this to happen but it would be so heartwarming seeing everyone care deeply about Charlie and try their hardest to get him back ❤
I came across the series last week and binged watched it, what an amazing series this is, all the characters are fantastically played by the very young talented actors, the issues were tackled so well and the development of each story also, off course Nick and Charlie's story is what we all wish for, the way they both care for each other is heartstopper in itself, Nick is so sweet, supporting, protective of not just Charlie but their friends also, I can't wait for season 3 to come out and I hope we get a few more seasons after that, one thing I hope doesn't happen is Nick & Charlie splitting up, they are soulmates! Well done to everyone involved in creating the series and the actors, I will probably re watch it again and again before season 3 and after that!

I don’t care how the story is different from the graphic novels as long as the show gets a proper run without getting cancelled and the boys end up together forever. I just need one more queer happy ending. They’re like David and Patrick on Schitt’s Creek, only teens. These 2 gay couples are battling it out for which is my favorite.

I just want to say, thank you to Alice. This show has been a delight and positive force in my life. Although I am way older than these characters, I learn a lot from them. I wish there was a show like this when I was growing up and finding myself. I watch this show over and over. Every time, I discover something new. I wish it could continue forever, but I understand that all good things must come to an end. I can't wait to see season three. It's going to hard to say goodbye to these wonderful onscreen friends. I wish the entire cast and crew well. You are all great talents. Your Art is profound and inspirational. I know it has done so much good in the world. Once again, THANK YOU!

Yess. It might be sad but it would be great to add on to that as we were left off in season two with Charlie talking about his experiences with bullying and sh. It could also make it more relatable for teens going through that type of stuff 🫶🏻

I have this hunch for season 3....it's probably not going happen since its unrealistic but at the end of season 2 when Charlie was gonna send "I love you" to Nick, I think he'll send it, but on his way home he'll get kidnapped 😭 I don't want this to happen but it would be so heartwarming seeing everyone care deeply about Charlie and try their hardest to get him back ❤
I came across the series last week and binged watched it, what an amazing series this is, all the characters are fantastically played by the very young talented actors, the issues were tackled so well and the development of each story also, off course Nick and Charlie's story is what we all wish for, the way they both care for each other is heartstopper in itself, Nick is so sweet, supporting, protective of not just Charlie but their friends also, I can't wait for season 3 to come out and I hope we get a few more seasons after that, one thing I hope doesn't happen is Nick & Charlie splitting up, they are soulmates! Well done to everyone involved in creating the series and the actors, I will probably re watch it again and again before season 3 and after that!

Oh I completely agree with every word...I am jealous for the same reasons but at the same time so happy and proud for this new generation of young people who live in the world now and ARE able to watch such shows and to feel comfortable thinking about their sexuality...I can't agree more that in the end it's all about love and in the show we see this absolute sincerity of it and it just touches my heart every time...And also makes me always struggle to understand and it completely breaks my heart that people can still be homophobic, exactly like you said: just let people live and be happy, I think this is all this life is about...

I’m ready again watching season two the last episode and I’m a watch it again because it’s beautiful I can’t wait to season three come out yes actually wait a whole year to see season two and when it came out at the wee little bit because I was watching a TV show but I said no I’m watching is the day today today so I got all the songs that I like from that singer lady announcer name she has a beautiful voice along with the TV show. It’s perfect watch in a few minutes as I got off work already.
