Curious about homes in Sweden- do most homes not have carpet (whether upstairs or downstairs)? In the US many homes are fully carpeted upstairs, including the stairs, and usually in the living room. Not all homes, of course! Many have fully hardwood/vinyl floors
Hi, actually on 2nd floor, first there was a wooden floor, then they put a carpet on it, then previous owner took away the carpet and painted the floor totally white (like 1st floor). The wooden floor was now in so so shape so I put a new ”thin” wooden floor on top of it.
Because you can not put the floor all the way to the wall (it is wood so it need some gap so it can shift in length), so you have to cover the gap with a baseboard, otherwise it looks ugly

我住美國，在這裡很少看到燈吊這麼低的！好奇怪
應該是因為沒有把線收進去才那麼長
我們家在IKEA買的吊燈大概會有例如1.5m或2m可以選
但用原始的長度 沒收到跟天花板連接的那個線盒裡都會撞到頭
(Jonas如果覺得太長可以在頂部加個類似三角形的線盒 把線收進去即可)
It is low enough so it won’t hit his head
Actually I put up the lamp before the table xD so didnt have time to adjust yet. I agree it is too low
Please be aware Zara home is not so good quality xD but so far no problem

瑞典跟台灣氣候不一樣，人工貴又無冷氣需求，不做天花板另裝嵌燈。他們喜歡買好看的立燈、桌燈和閱讀燈，補充室內的光源，有氣氛又可靈活更換。

如果沒裝的話很沒整體感，好像是整臉化妝，但是忘了畫眉毛或口紅。在美國我看過的每個房子都有baseboards,包括我家。
