- La Bambas are a popular singing group from the musical city of Moratuwa , Sri Lanka , founded in 1966. They belong to the era when the genre of vocal harmony 'group songs 'were very much in vogue in the island country.
The La Bambas members comprised of Brian Fernando , Priya Peiris , Rolinson Ferdinando , Lasla Fernando , Erinton Perera and Malsiri Wijesuriya . They endured for nearly five decades without being seperated until the demise of their leader Brian in 2013
