Ma’am, you hit 1 MILLION SUBSCRIBERS in 2024! That is a huge goal that took years of effort. It’s ok to see where you need to grow but also celebrate the wins!🏆
This has been playing on my mind since I watched. Can we please ALL take a moment to tell this awesome woman just how awesome she really is?? How inspirational she is and how she motivates so many of us from all over the world! Cas you really are a life guru 💕
My "word" is actually a statement from the Bible: "Let your yes be yes, and your no be no." In the past I said yes to way too many things that I didn't want to do and it overwhelmed and stressed me. Now, I don't have to say yes unless it's something that will genuinely bring value to me. I'm too old to live out other people's expectations for me.
@jackiezerres3753 I really needed to see you write that. I am too old to live someone else's expectations of me. I am always saying yes, and it is not serving my health, mental or physical. Thank you.
I agree. When Cas was speaking about her disappointment of her 2025, the question that popped into my head is, "when are we allowed to just enjoy what we accomplish?" I love a growth mindset but why is there always pressure to create and chase the next dream? The life I currently live is beyond what I could have dreamed and yet there so much pressure to do more :( I do agree that negative self talk needs to change so Cas, thank you so much for the pep talk to aggressively talk to myself as whatever I want
Because of your help, in December 2024 I got the kitchen and bathroom to the point where I only have to spend 10 min at most on each room daily to keep it showroom clean. I feel like I accomplished so much. Today, the bedroom!! I might even buy new furniture instead of "making do."
My word is QUALITY. I no longer invite into my life cheap-o, temporary, destined for the landfill things or clothing. I prioritize and strengthen my most valuable relationships. 2025 is my year for metaphorically and literally taking out the trash!
First time listener. Food for thought: sometimes maintaining a routine or sustaining and not losing traction on positive routines is just as successful as increasing skill. It’s a marathon, not a race. Enjoy the ride with gratitude and while keeping your eyes peeled for things that can be improved, occasionally consider the yard stick for success that you are measuring with.
I never even thought of having a word for the year! I’m very unfit, 62yrs old, losing muscle fast, so I started resistance exercises 2 weeks ago, so I guess my word is STRENGTH 💪🏻 I talk really badly to myself so I’ll work on that too, thanks 💜💞
You ho girl 💪🏼! I'm doing this with you. 59 and starting slow, little tiny core exercise exercises with resistance training, and a little senior HIT training at home. I believe in you 😘
I have been feeling trapped in life. I have an autistic 3 year old and a 3 month old and I am always telling myself "I never get time for myself" "someone is always touching me" "I can't spend time doing things to better my life because I don't have time without kids". Your "you have the life you are willing to put up with" was a lightbulb. Even if I do it at a snails pace at least I am moving.
I've been feeling that too! My autistic daughter is 5 and rarely wants to leave the house. The silver lining is it's giving me time to declutter the house.
I understand. You will make it. I hope you can find resources to help with autism. (My daughter has two autistic children, one is nonverbal). Feel my hug
My word for this year is, respect! I respect God in all I do, I respect my house, my body my family my friends etc. I take care of everything with respect ❤️🙏
Good morning! I have watched you for years and years. I could write a book on the things I learned from you. Keeping it real is what I like the most. 🤗we are our own worst enemies. We definitely need to learn to love ourselves.❤️ my word is maturity and I’m 77 years old.😊
My word of the year is "healing" God healed me of depression in December so now my healing will show in my mind, my body and my spirit. My healing brings joy, peace, and confidence. I deserve healing. Thanks for reinforcing what God has already shown me.
I've wanted joy back in my life for a really long time. every time I think of how to be joyful again I break down crying. I think just the act of letting myself realize how much grief, loss, depression has swallowed my true self up the last 8 years, is an act of facing what I've been through and what is cost me, and how lost I have become that I can barely imagine joy anymore. But I'm going to. This is my word for the year.
You should be proud of the thousands of people you help all over the world with your wonderful ideas and cheerful personality. Thank you for your generous help to many. Love all you do.😀Anyone can make a video on how to declutter, but you do it with kindness and a kick in the b**tt when needed. And your voice is so easy to listen to.
Those negative self-talk moments we're not just in your head. My heart would hurt when those negative self-talk comments would creep out into your videos. After a few weeks of binge-watching your videos, it dawned on me that I, too, had those negative self-talk comments and decided to be more aware of them so that I could cancel them out right away. I am so happy that you, too, have come to realize it and fight against it.
I got up an hour early this morning, so I could spend some time (not a lot) cleaning and decluttering. It was exhausting and I had to lie down and rest several times. But I still managed to: sweep the bathroom floor, hang up a load of clean clothes, prepare another load of clothes to wash, and do some tidying and decluttering on my desk. It felt soooo good! My sentence for this year is going to be (IS) "I LOVE decluttering and cleaning.". What an attitude shift! 🎉🎉🎉🎉. Thanks, Cas!
I have been picking a word for years! My word for 2025 is THRIVE! I am not going to exist anymore. I am going to THRIVE!! You are inspiring so give yourself grace ❤❤
I also chose Thrive in 25! . My 24 year old son passed away in April of 2023 and I have been just existing and going through the motions . I know that is not what he would want for me I felt it in my soul that my son wants me to thrive again ❤️🩹 . With Gods help I know all things are possible.
I have only recently (3 days ago) found your channel and have been binge-watching ever since. You have given me the inspiration and motivation to finally get my house and my life in order. You have given me the ‘kick in the pants’ that I have needed for way too long, and I cannot thank you enough Cas. Your bubbly personality and sense of humour are infectious. I suffer from chronic illness and mobility impairment, so I know it’s going to be more of a struggle and take a bit longer for me to get things done, but I know deep down that I have the POWER within me to achieve my goal. My word for this year is POWER. With love and gratitude to you from England ❤
Belinda, Isn’t Cas awesome?! I’ve been watching her for 2-3 years and I love her to pieces. She really gets me motivated when I’m feeling down, overwhelmed or just plain lazy. 🤣
@@nolagranolabar She really is amazing! Just last night I was watching one of her videos and felt motivated to declutter my bedside unit whilst watching. Usually it takes so much for me to get up and do stuff 🤣
@@belinda5720 Good for you!!! Cas does have amazing motivational powers! 🤣 Yesterday I had absolutely NO motivation. I listened to this podcast and got the laundry done, swept the floor and a couple other small things, I don’t remember right now. It wasn’t much, but at least Cas got me off my butt and moving! 🤣🥰
I don’t have a word for myself but the other day I heard the quote, “Stop focusing on making progress and focus on what’s doable.” For some reason, this has REALLY helped me! All of a sudden my livingroom and kitchen are cleaned and decluttered, seemingly without effort. Our mental and emotional health really affects our physical health. Be gentle with yourself Cass. It’s okay that you didn’t have the capacity while you were grieving and caring for your daughter and everyone else, to have the energy for yourself too. You were giving 100% even when your capacity was very small. When you have a teaspoon of energy left and you’ve used it, even if just to eat a snack, take a nap or wipe the counter, you’ve given 100% of yourself. Have a wonderful day! ❤️❤️
@ me too. I’m pathetic. My lips will be all chapped and cracked and an intelligent person would drink a damn bottle of water and put some chapstick on. will I do either? Maybe one day
You are an amazing lady and you shouldn't be so hard on yourself. You just don't know how much you have help me with struggles in my life, not just with getting my house cleaned and decluttering. i have been viewing your videos for a few years now-i watch some over and over and love it when i see a new one. thank you for all you do.
I hope you know how many people you inspire! That needs to count for something. You are changing lives. I’m newish to you and binging all your videos and you’ve already changed my life. You are the most genuine person on the internet… I feel blessed to “know you”.
My word -Reduce. Reduce my weight even more, reduce my spending, reduce my belongings, reduce my trash. Reduce my anger. I spent most of last year doing these things, so this year I intend to build on reducing the things in my life that need to go.
I LOVE these podcasts!!!! I clean my kitchen while listening and it feels like a friend is talking to me and giving me a pep talk so after the kitchen is cleaned and the podcast is done, I’m motivated to continue to the next room! Thanks for your honesty - it’s so refreshing and relatable
My word is efficiency, especially with time. I no longer put up with wasted time, like on FB or IG. UA-cam doesn't count because I learn so much from you
My word for the year is "Nourish". I went through a lot of trauma last year and gained about 50 pounds because I ate for comfort. I need to nourish my body and not feed it only junk. I want to nourish my family too. And I want to nourish my home by taking care of it! Nourish mind, body, and soul ❤️
I feel you today Cass! I, too, have gained 25lbs of hormonal/thyroid/adrenal weight!😞 So, my word this year is HEALTH. Physical spiritual and mental! I heard someone explain about “choose your hard”. Example..being overweight is hard, being fit is hard, choose your hard. That is my mantra for the year.💪❤️🙏
Sorry to hear this. I did the same thing gained the weight had thyroid etx.. I tried dr. Gundrys way of eating and lost 27 lbs and felt more full in my life, off sugars and lectins, it amazing. I also am off thyroid meds. 25 mg. 😊Hope that might help you as well because excess weight is such a pain and uncomfortable 😬
It's the way you're looking at the "drudgery" of life. There's beauty in the mundane - you just need to become aware of it. "When you arise in the morning, think of what a privilege it is to be alive, to think, to enjoy, to love." (Marcus Aurelius) You are beautiful. You Are a person who is fit and healthy. Love You 💗 💜 💙 🖤
I FINALLY after debating for years since I found Minimal Mom and you, I let go of the excess of dishes I own. I had told myself I didn't need to let them go because they fit in my cabinets BUT I am always overwhelmed with how many dishes I am washing daily so I realized we are using the clean dishes instead of washing what's already in the sink because there's plenty to use. But NO MORE! I now have only what we actually need! This is a LIFE CHANGER and I am blown away by it!!
My word for 2025 - Uncompromising... your statement that we have the house, body, or "whatever" that we are willing to put up with hit me very hard, so I WILL NOT compromise this year. Thank you for all your content, it is helping me get there. 😊
You are an amazing person and are making such a positive difference in my life!! I’m so thankful you are willing to share your journey . Your message felt like it was meant for me because the thoughts I tell myself are also negative and have been for years. Thank you for being you and adding joy to my life!
I stumbled upon your channel just before the new year. YOU helped me find my word for 2025 when I watched my first of your videos. LESS. Less weight Less trash Less stuff I'm down 20 lbs since Nov 1 and I have declutteres like a fiend!
First off, my condolences for your stepfather. Secondly, when you shared how you became a volunteer firefighter I thought, wow that is so amazing! You had to have positive self-talk to follow-through with the courses and training! I give you so much credit for pushing yourself out of your comfort zone to take on such a challenge! I just want to find the courage to truly be happy (most of the time) in a career. Not to mention finding ways to talk to my husband about parenting/punishments or consequences. You should be very proud of yourself. We all are doing the best we can!
Flourishing is my word this year! (the only others I’ve chosen in this way were Agency, Simplicity and Breathe. “Thrive” is so popular, but it feels like pressure. So Flourishing feels more fun and doable! ❤
I just happened to come across this and it was totally life changing for me. I feel like my life is chaos and I joke about it, but man I realize now that it doesn't have to be. Now to come up with a word for the year
Missy you are NOT a toddler 😆 I rather have a chai latte any day as coffee hurts my stomach 😝 IDENTITY is my word. Not my most fun word this year, but its about remembering who I am as a daughter of the King 👑 This means that I am protected, prepared, have access to great power and joy and can do all things through Him 🙌🏼 including but not limited to decluttering my house and greatly improving my health 🎉
Mundy Pelz on youtube said to just add/take away something small that needs needs changed. So I added 5 minutes of arm exercises a day. When that was establshed leg exercises for 5 minutes a day was added. After a few weeks, toning is happening. Today, gazelle for 3 minutes is added. It works.
My words from last year that I am carrying into this year are "resilience" and "romance". I want to build tenacity and health, mentally, physically, and in my community. And I want to enjoy life, even through the difficult things, appreciating the story that I am living.
To add to my comment, didn’t you hit 1 mil subs last year? That too is huge and takes years of dedication and work….you set the bar high girl, and your uplifting cheerful personality helps us all. Everyday you help thousands of people make changes for the better in their homes, in their lives…you may not be able to see that, but your following tells you you’re doing something right. Thank you for helping so many of us who feel stuck & overwhelmed. For giving us so many tools and support to continue to fight the fight, on so many things. Last, I’m so sorry about the loss of your step-dad. Will keep you in my prayers.❤🙏
Speaking of your fancy dressing gown - which I think is utterly fabulous btw. I bought myself a beautiful dressing gown in Turkey in July...its bamboo cotton, utterly divine material with lace edging...its like melted butter. Only I wouldn't wear it because I wanted to wait until my house was perfect so I'd feel like a queen. We'll, I'm not finished in the house, there's a couple of areas that I need to finish decluttering and making beautiful, but I decided that life was hard enough, and I deserved to feel that luxury next to my skin, whether the house is perfect or not. It felt amazing!! And in turn, I'm starting to feel so much better about the mundane. Nothing can ever be manifested until you feel like you already have it. Thank you for that reminder, Cas, I'm so on it now! 2025 is gonna be frigging amazing! ❤
I only managed to make my bed, pick up laundry, and empty the dishwasher. I also put some dirty dishes in the dishwasher and hand washables in the sink to soak while I fine tuned the mess on my desk.
@sabine9012 That's a good idea! I need to be grateful for what I have done. Since you wrote, I have filled out medical forms for my doctor visit tomorrow, and I'm working on my planner. I only mentioned what I finished during the video.
I loved this so much.. I think my word for this year would be acceptance.. Accept my son's diagnosis. Accept my diagnosis. Accept the big change at this stage. Accept the daily work at home. Accept my daily exercise with less effort. Accept that I continue with my life.❤❤❤❤
My word this year is SIMPLIFY. Moving into a Retirement Village, joining my Church committee, and Village Residents Committee . Also including medical appointments, I felt at the end of 2024 I needed to take control and have some me time. So far it's working and having a new rescue pup is giving me a new focus! Keep up the good work love, you inspire me all the time! 🐾🤓💝👍💖
My word for 2025 is DANCE. Both literally (I've been dancing 15 minutes each day, and will be getting certified to teach zumba this year!) but also figuratively. Ya know, if I get the chance to sit it out or dance... Dance! Very similar to your Joy word.
You may not feel like you're doing enough, but you inspire and help so many people to improve their lives. You are amazing! Believe it and own it. BTW I think the word you are looking for is self-deprecating rather than "depriciating".
Thank you so much for your honesty! Thank you for this podcast. It was a kick in the pants that I needed too! My vision board has two mantras on it - "Great things come from consistent progress" and "I allow, I accept, and I deserve". My word of the year is SIMPLICITY. It helps me not to overthink, and look at everything I have and everything I do in a different way. Instead of a daily cleaning routine that makes me crazy busy or feels overwhelming, I find the simplest, bare minimum way to do it and then add on if I feel motivated. I feel much more in control of my life and have taken out a lot of things that were too much to maintain. This includes family members and friendships as well. Again, thank you!! You make such a difference in people's lives! I wish you many moments of joy in 2025!
You are such an amazing and inspirational woman! My word is gratitude. At 79 you deal with health issues, family and friends passing, etc. I sometimes forget how blessed I am. Every morning I started spending a few minutes reminding my self of all the things I have to be grateful for.
Thank you again for your inspiration. You give me the desire to do better each day. But i still struggle. I am very much like you in many ways. I'm part of the "take your house back" and struggle to get morivated. Due to the events of yesterday i decided to be better to my tomorrow self. The last few days have been rough. But you help me see what i need to do.Besides you, Dawn and Dana I also listen to Christine frugal fit mom and Mel Robins who gives me a different perspective on life and how i treat myself motivated at times. I wish you would that Mel on tour podcast... I think it would be a dynamic duo !! Love you and thanks for being you!!!
Confession time. I’ve been listening to your Audiobook, and UA-cam videos for quite awhile. I have decluttering down. It’s actually a little bit addictive. I like to start my day by unloading the dishwasher while the coffee brews, and finding something to deep clean or tidy. Then I clean the cat boxes. I listen to podcasts, books or videos while I do this. What I’m REALLY doing is avoiding exercise. You busted me. You spoke to me. I’m going to change the way I talk to myself and become more aware of how I’m spending my time. Because I AM a person who enjoys her daily exercise!
I'm glad that you're noticing how you've slipped into old patterns (victim mentality, speaking negatively to yourself, etc). But I still think you're being hard on yourself by downplaying your accomplishments from 2024. That's a form of negative self-talk too. I think you're doing great!
Growing up, my parents were much older than most. They loved me, but my mom always criticized when she praised. Once when I asked her why she did this, she told me that she thought I would be egotistical if she didn’t criticize when she praised. Sadly, it took me many years to dig myself out from this mindset.
My word for 2025 is Focus! Focus on my health, focus on my family, focus on my house, my job & my business. Make these a priority. Focus on one thing and get it done!
I’ve chosen 2 words at the start of the year: Simplify and Reduce. In multiple ways. You’ve got this, Cas! You’ve hit a million subscribers (not just viewers!) and became a dang firefighter! And that’s in spite of everything else challenging in 2024. You go girl!
Eh, I've been to two ADD's and YES YOU ARE 100% ASSERTIVE 😂 💖 Please don't be so hard on yourself, you've accomplished so many amazing things! While I've been watching you, Dawn and Dana for the past year 😶🌫️ Don't get me wrong, I'm eternally grateful for the calm I feel in my home and my life, I'm not there, but darn close 😁 I'm 45 tomorrow and feel like I've wasted the last 25yrs. I don't even know what I really want right now!! You are an amazing inspiration to so many, that is powerful 💝
Hi Cas....I absolutely love your honesty!! This is what really separates you from all others.. I watch/listen to you everyday to get things done!!! When you say "get a trash bag now," I actually do!!! So thank you for being here for all of us and getting me up out of the chair to doing something!!! Keep on Keepin' on 🙂💯👍
Thank you, Cass. Your words always resonate with me. I’ve brain dumped some words, stolen a few from these comments, and I’ll see which one or two feels right. ❤
Thank you!! I needed to hear this today. Cas, you are truly an amazing angel! I have always thought of myself as a clean freak, organized type of person that could multitask. As I've gotten older and life has hit harder I've slowed down and gotten lazy. I've basically surrendered and given myself excuses to not achieve. Hearing this today has been a kick in the pants and I'm going to make the changes I need happen! I love your videos and I have been decluttering for years now with your help and motivation. It all started with a kitchen junk drawer a few years ago lol! I want my life back and no one can give that to me except for me! Thank you for the love, time, help, and motivation you give all of us! You truly make a difference in so many lives and that is an incredible accomplishment!❤
Hello Sweetheart🌹. "Joy" was the feeling encouraged by a Spiritual podcast I stumbled upon around 3am Sunday unable to sleep to sleep. Here you are today choosing your word for encouragement being _ "joy" ..... He even mentioned The Lord wishes, and is Joyous in us when we succeed, and are Happy. " Joy to the World 🌎 ...🌟 I feel we will share this word, for our assertive Power..... We deserve it cause the Lord wishes it for us....❤ JOY ,Power, Pride to you Cass and all of us . Thank You
Cass, don't fret about protein. As a 16 year vegan, I know that most people consume way too much protein. And, there is protein in everything. Everything. Even that strawberry you are eating. So if you are not a huge consumer of animal products, it's probably a benefit to your health. The only people who are protein deficient are not consuming enough calories, basically starving. No one in the USA is protein deficient unless they are ill or starving themselves.
You might be surprised. The beans and rice combination is a bit low on the amino acids methionine and threonine. You can get methionine in capsules to take with it. Your body will likely combine all amino acids eaten in the same day, so not all of them need to be eaten together. Sources of Threonine. Poultry and Meat (chicken, beef, sausage) Spinach Nuts (almonds, peanuts, walnuts) TVP (textured vegetable protein) Seed (sesame, pumpkin) Eggs Fish & seafood (shrimp, salmon) Sources of Methionine: Eggs Fish Turkey Beef Cheese Milk Quinoa Nuts Tofu
I am exactly the same way about my health!! I have gained 40 lbs over the past 10 years and have been diagnosed 2 years ago with type 2 diabetes and I still don't take it seriously and constantly negatively self talk to myself. I self sabotage and make plenty of excuses to not work out and watch my diet closer. I have gotten other things in my life well balanced , my home thanks to you, but when it comes to taking care of me I neglect myself. I'm a mother, wife, and daughter and take care of everyone else before me. Please keep telling us how you are taking steps to a healthier you because I could really use the help!!!
Cass I love you ❤️ you have helped me through my grieving process and dealing with de cluttering my mama’s belongings Please don’t be so hard on yourself your robe is not ridiculous it is lovely and comforting ❤
Affirmations have a way of doing that if our mind knows we’re lying 😀 The trick is to find the positive spin. E.g., “I deserve orderly files,” “I am grateful for my growing list of clients and the opportunity to serve them,” “I love drinking my coffee and listening to my favorite songs while I do paperwork,” etc.
My word this year is ACCEPTANCE. Of me and where I'm at in my life and situations, both positive and not so positive. Of others and where they are at, etc. It has helped so much already! Love you, Cas. You're the real deal!
Yes Cass, You are amazing! You do so much for others and that shows your compassion for others. Amazing!!! My personal word is Declutter!!! I will declutter for 5 minutes every day!!! It doesn't sound like much, but in 38 years of living in one house and getting close to 80 years old, 5 min. will make a big difference over one year and a goal that I should be able to keep!!! Thanks, Cass for all of your encouragement!!! As I've been watching you, I've been organizing some lace for my crafting space, and then I will head to my craft room and declutter for 5 min.!!! I've already this morning put away laundry,
There is a saying, Life happens while we are making other plans. Don't look back on past so called failures. You can't change the past. I like Dana White's podcast on " Maximilism" . Also looking forward to her new book - Jesus Doesn't care About your Messy House. Keep looking forward and remember that you did this many times before and you can do it again. Praying for you.
I learned something in this video that I think it's good that i did learn about it: Negative thoughts just don't keep you going, they just destroy who you really are and makes you confused about things. We should always say positive thoughts about ourselves, just doing that is loving ourselves. We must say "I am capable of many things" everyday. Even better, we must always say "I am strong, unstoppable and I can do it" everyday. I have a boyfriend who always says negative things about himself, and I always make him think positivitly about himself when he hurts himself psychologicly. Even better, I always make someone think good of themselves, even they did a bad mistake, because we always do mistakes in life. What's important about them is how you deal with it: Ignore it or fix it? Also, we can't change of who we are, but we can do better everyday. We can work on ourselves to be better, but to not change. What I always say to people is "Change is adding something new in your life and will make you look in different perspectives about things". Like you say, changing the way we think about ourselves makes a great step to be better and grow. Honestly, my words in 2025 are about changing: Learn and Grow. I am learning new things this year and I am growing myself more this year so I can love myself more for the future ( I already love myself, but you know, adding more spices to the mix). I am telling myself this year that I can do everything I want in life, even if it takes 1 day, weeks or months to do it. And also, the pound of our body shouldn't matter in a relationship, but the pound of our heart: Is it a big heart or a small heart? You must not be shamed of how your body looks like, because of what's really important in life is who you are inside and not who you are outside. The size of the heart should really matters. Finally, your podcast motivated me to do a bit of decluttering in my room: My shelve was full of trash, and I am happy that it looks less full right now. Thanks for the motivation you give to people, this really helps getting better and learn to love ourselves better. And yeah, you are right, I deserve to be happy and have a clean home. I deserve to wake up and have a clean space and a clean mindset. Thanks for the words, you really add a difference to the community, thank you 💞💗💝
My word is invest. I'm investing in myself (health, learning, etc), relationships with family & friends as well as financially. They all take work but are worth it.
My word is forgiveness…forgiving myself for the crazy, stupid and OMG things I have done or said in the past…forgiving those who hurt me badly in the past leaving my heart & spirit broken. I deserve better self-talk and self-love than I have ever given myself in the past…as finally…the “lightbulb” has turned on in my head and I’m not letting anyone turn it off again…not even me!!
Hi, I just want to let you know, that I adore you. I am watching you every day and I am transforming my home slowly . You are so honest and real and your tips work. Lots of love From Slovakia.
Thanks Cass! I really needed this. I've been unkind to myself my whole life. I have ADD with a lot of autism traits, and had a lot of early childhood trauma, followed by more trauma. I avoid doing the tasks that I find scary or overwhelming. This year my word is motivated! I'm going to be motivated to do all those scary tasks because I deserve to not be stressed out and I deserve to have a home I'm not embarrassed of! You're amazing Cass! I love how you say all the things I'd be so embarrassed to tell people about myself. Thank you for taking the shame out of these topics. You're so Brave and so Amazing!!!❤
My word is AWARE. Aware of what I’m spending, we’re of what I’m eating, aware of how I’m spending my time, aware of who my real friends are, aware of other people’s needs, aware of my own needs, and mostly aware to the whispers of God in my everyday life.
Ma’am, you hit 1 MILLION SUBSCRIBERS in 2024! That is a huge goal that took years of effort. It’s ok to see where you need to grow but also celebrate the wins!🏆
^^^^^ this!!
Proverbs 18:21 Life and death are in the power of the tongue...
Yes 🎉
Very good to remember. I'm finding I'm saying no a little more often, but the yeses are a little more satisfying.
Have you read The Best Yes? Its perfect for your word of the year!
@jackiezerres3753 I really needed to see you write that. I am too old to live someone else's expectations of me. I am always saying yes, and it is not serving my health, mental or physical. Thank you.
Please don’t be so hard on yourself. You motivate and inspire me, and millions of others, every day. You are amazing!
What helped me was ditching the toxic positivity self help world and learning tools to cultivate contentment. Being content is so underrated.
Great Word!!! My word is Intentional! This is the year for me to live day by day and to be intentional with my daily life.
LOVE that!
I definitely need to remember this. I bring stuff that is so-so and it doesn’t always equal much. And now I have way too much.
YES!!! the best thing your 14:07 can do for yourself and future you 🎉 It is hard and soooo good!!! Don’t give up!!!
You ho girl 💪🏼! I'm doing this with you. 59 and starting slow, little tiny core exercise exercises with resistance training, and a little senior HIT training at home. I believe in you 😘
That's good, I feel that too. Thank you x
Get a weighted vest! You will love it. So many health benefits for menopausal women. 😊
You are Amazing 🎉
I've been feeling that too! My autistic daughter is 5 and rarely wants to leave the house. The silver lining is it's giving me time to declutter the house.
Just keep finding ways to speak the things you want as true, and it will seep in. Keep the faith, I believe for you 😊
Please know that you are not alone. Reach out for help. Get out if just for a walk around the block.
❤
I did this last year and I am keeping it up. This year I am going to use thrive. Great for you
I've wanted joy back in my life for a really long time. every time I think of how to be joyful again I break down crying.
Thrive is a great word for this year.
I love this one, might steal it!
Me too. 🙈❤️
💕✝️ Yes, THRIVE is also my word. Not just survive, coast through, get by in life but ENJOY & THRIVE in life.
Thrive THRIVE THRIVE!!✝️
I don’t have a word for myself but the other day I heard the quote,
“Stop focusing on making progress and focus on what’s doable.”
For some reason, this has REALLY helped me!
You don’t always have to be an over achiever Cas, you’ll allowed to coast once in awhile ❤
“Reality is…I don’t take my health seriously at all.” Got me.
Guilty of this one big time!
My word is PEACE. I know it doesn’t sound very exciting but it is THE goal & I am motivated.
I'm the same way. My body is not a temple. It is junkyard full of broken parts. My inner talk does not give me a break!
My word -Reduce. Reduce my weight even more, reduce my spending, reduce my belongings, reduce my trash. Reduce my anger. I spent most of last year doing these things, so this year I intend to build on reducing the things in my life that need to go.
I love your word; Reduce!!! 🥰
Reduce is a super word! I can do this! Thank you for sharing!
My word of the year is OWNERSHIP. Taking ownership of myself, my health, my finances, and teaching my kids ownership of their own lives as well.
Powerful 👏🏼
I LOVE these podcasts!!!! I clean my kitchen while listening and it feels like a friend is talking to me and giving me a pep talk so after the kitchen is cleaned and the podcast is done, I’m motivated to continue to the next room! Thanks for your honesty - it’s so refreshing and relatable
My word is efficiency, especially with time. I no longer put up with wasted time, like on FB or IG. UA-cam doesn't count because I learn so much from you
Yess!
My word this year is intention! No more survival mode! ❤
My word is healing.... healing physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually
"When you arise in the morning, think of what a privilege it is to be alive, to think, to enjoy, to love." (Marcus Aurelius)
You are beautiful.
My word this year is STRENGTH. Past words: content, grateful, thankful and joy when medication nearly killed me and left me bedridden.
You are an amazing person and are making such a positive difference in my life!! I’m so thankful you are willing to share your journey . Your message felt like it was meant for me because the thoughts I tell myself are also negative and have been for years. Thank you for being you and adding joy to my life!
My word is "Ruthless." I am working to ruthlessly declutter every unnecessary thing and distraction from my life.
I stumbled upon your channel just before the new year. YOU helped me find my word for 2025 when I watched my first of your videos. LESS.
Less weight
Less trash
Less stuff
I'm down 20 lbs since Nov 1 and I have declutteres like a fiend!
My word for 2025 is consistency. Thanks, as always, for the inspiration, Cas!
Flourishing is my word this year! (the only others I’ve chosen in this way were Agency, Simplicity and Breathe.
“Thrive” is so popular, but it feels like pressure. So Flourishing feels more fun and doable! ❤
“But I know…I can make anything fun.” Yes Cas! That is what you have taught us is possible for us too! Thank you 🥰.
I just happened to come across this and it was totally life changing for me. I feel like my life is chaos and I joke about it, but man I realize now that it doesn't have to be. Now to come up with a word for the year
Thanks Cas for the motivating talk! You are the best!
It works.
Thank you!
My words from last year that I am carrying into this year are "resilience" and "romance". I want to build tenacity and health, mentally, physically, and in my community. And I want to enjoy life, even through the difficult things, appreciating the story that I am living.
Thank you for sharing this with us!!!!! It’s a wake up call for me 🎉 and I m now gonna listen for the second time. Love from the Netherlands 🇳🇱 ❤❤❤
Sounds good to me. Do you bash yourself for the rest of the day or do you enjoy what you have accomplished.
@sabine9012 That's a good idea! I need to be grateful for what I have done. Since you wrote, I have filled out medical forms for my doctor visit tomorrow, and I'm working on my planner. I only mentioned what I finished during the video.
Great job!!! 👏🏻 👍🏻😀
You deserve to be self-reflective, assertive , iconic and hilarious - because you are sll those things! 💕
Your nugget about self-talk was a lightbulb moment for me, Cas. Thank you. G Ire
Perfect start to the Morning 💗 Happy Monday!
My word for 2025 is DANCE. Both literally (I've been dancing 15 minutes each day, and will be getting certified to teach zumba this year!) but also figuratively. Ya know, if I get the chance to sit it out or dance... Dance! Very similar to your Joy word.
My word is Unstoppable. Thank you for this I really needed to hear it❤️
You may not feel like you're doing enough, but you inspire and help so many people to improve their lives. You are amazing! Believe it and own it.
BTW I think the word you are looking for is self-deprecating rather than "depriciating".
You are absolutely right 😂
Thank you for keeping it real! Love you! Your content has completely changed my life and house!
My word is the same word for last year. FAITH Faith in myself and being positive. Faith in my Lord and His promises.
I am inspired.
My word is persevere. First time picking a word of the year.
i like this word and perfect for what i am facing this year - i will persevere!
Happy Birthday! 🥰
@jinglesh1398 thank you so much 💕
Very inspirational. Thank you.
" Joy to the World 🌎 ...🌟
I feel we will share this word, for our assertive Power.....
Poultry and Meat (chicken, beef, sausage)
Spinach
Nuts (almonds, peanuts, walnuts)
TVP (textured vegetable protein)
Seed (sesame, pumpkin)
Eggs
Fish & seafood (shrimp, salmon)
Sources of Methionine:
Eggs
Fish
Turkey
Beef
Cheese
Milk
Quinoa
Nuts
Tofu
My word for the year is 'empowered'! Empowered to get everything decluttered and organized. Empowered to take care of myself again. Empowered
Cass I love you ❤️ you have helped me through my grieving process and dealing with de cluttering my mama’s belongings
Please don’t be so hard on yourself your robe is not ridiculous it is lovely and comforting ❤
I am good at doing paperwork!
Wow, that sentence makes me feel a bit sick in my stomach and my throat closes up. Okay, I'll try anyway. 🤢
@@username00009 Oh, good point! Thank you. I'll try that. Especially the one with the coffee.
My word this year is ACCEPTANCE. Of me and where I'm at in my life and situations, both positive and not so positive. Of others and where they are at, etc. It has helped so much already! Love you, Cas. You're the real deal!
My word for this year is Strength. My word last year was Joy.
My words are calm & intentional 😊
(Couldn't pick just one...)
I've already this morning put away laundry,
Good morning! Ready for this today. 😊
Girl!! This year’s words: diligent and thoughtful!!
Diligent at work as well as at home!! And thoughtful wherever I am!!!
I learned something in this video that I think it's good that i did learn about it:
Negative thoughts just don't keep you going, they just destroy who you really are and makes you confused about things.
Thanks for the words, you really add a difference to the community, thank you 💞💗💝
Hi Cass! My word for 2025 is Grateful!
I will save myself. I will save myself. I will save myself.❤
@EyeofSekhmet This resonates hard with me. Yes.
