Iran has uranium deposits and mines. One of the reasons sanctions do not work with Iran is because of it's vast size and a diverse geography. It is a natural breadbasket as well (although England starved a great deal of the population to feed its WW1 war effort). It's an ancient civilization for a reason.

you underestimate the indoctrination that americans go through from an early age, almost cultish.
