2007-2012 were great years because this is back when IMPACT was good to watch.
It's still good to watch. The only reason people dismiss it is because of Dave meltzer and the low production value.

It was spoiled then too but back then you had to really look for it....these days if you're on UA-cam you'll know everything thats gonna happen for the next 6 months....thats a problem in wrestling too

Ah I remember this. This was when Sting was rumored (and probably was) going to go to WWE but Dixie managed to snatch him back with more money.
Speaking of more money, just looking at the PRESENTATION of TNA in 2011 compared to now is actually insane. Dixie truly spent an incredible amount of money to keep TNA looking like a big deal.
The in ring competition now is probably better now but the presentation is at least 10x worse than it was before.

I remember watching as a kid. I had always heard about Sting from people but never had any idea who he was.

Apparently he was supposed to lose I heard tho,he finally said in the stone cold session that the ending to the match was supposed to be him taking a scorpion death drop with a chair around his neck

One of the few occasions where Jeff Hardy's opponent gets a bigger entrance than him. Absolutely love Sting's outfit here...more sparkly than some of Ric Flair's costumes.
Just a shame this felt a bit short - almost a kind of squash match. Would have thought with the title being on the line it would be more epic.
