    I think this was the first video I discovered when I started the process of acquiring a Zoomo - I get to pick up my very own Sport this week. :) Did Zoomo give you a referral code? If it'll help you at all, I'd be happy (honoured) to add it to my order!

      Awesome! That’s great news, you’re going to have a lot of fun with it! 😊
      That’s very kind of you! Try ‘ANDY-3482’, I don’t currently have an active subscription as we’re about to have a baby so it might not work. But if it does you’ll save $50!

At the time I thought that was OK but a few videos on and I already think the music ruins that part of the video so your constructive feedback really helps. I’m very sparing with music now! Hello, I've been binge watching your videos as I'm currently debating whether I need to buy e-bike or do e-bike subscriptions (like Zoomo or Jot). I came here cause of your Zoomo honest review and I think it's really helpful! I'm a female (never use an e-bike before) and my workplaces are nearby where I live, most far from home is around 3.8KM (which makes it around 7.6km round trip) I'm planning to use the e-bike commuting to work, a little bit traveling to the beach, and if possible, do side hustle food delivery during my off work days. So my questions are:
    1. Do you think it's safe and sufficient for me to take the cheapest plan $39/week+insurance $10?
    2. Can I upgrade my plan later if my food delivery job growing in income?
    3. Does Zoomo sport can get into the train?
    4. As a new e-bike rider, could you please advise me the dos and donts riding on the road?
    5. Do I need license to ride e-bike?
    Would really appreciate your answers and kind advise. Thanks a lot! :)

    • @sidebusinessbloke
      @sidebusinessbloke  11 місяців тому

      Hey thanks for watching! Here are my answers to your awesome questions!
      1. $39 caps you at 150km per week. You will ride about 10km-15km per hour doing food delivery so include that in your calculations when you're figuring it out. Zoomo will probably try to upsell you when you get there so just be prepared for that. Either way, I think the $10 insurance is worth it as I've heard horror stories of people paying $100 per week for many months to pay for a bike that was stolen.
      2. Pretty sure they'll happily upgrade you at any time, more money for them. :)
      3. Yes you can get it on a train. Try to use the end carriages and avoid busy times.
      4. This is a pretty good resource - bicyclenetwork.com.au/tips-resources/getting-started/riding-in-the-city/
      I think it's worth me making a video about this so thanks for the idea! :)
      5. Nope, no license needed.
      Please be safe, if you're not comfortable at any point, get off the road and stop for a while. Who cares if you're late delivering someone's burger, your safety is more important. As you're new to riding, consider spending a week or two getting used to the bike first before adding the stress of food delivery on top. Hope that helps :)

    Hey came here from the other video I commented on, just had a few questions. I’m also interested in purchasing the Zoomo Sport, however, am I able to ride this E-bike where I can rely on the motor ONLY and no pedalling from me? If so, what is the top speed the bike goes when it’s ONLY the motor and NO pedalling? Lastly, sounds silly, but can I pedal + get motor power?
    Thank you so much for this review!
    Cheers!

    • @sidebusinessbloke
      @sidebusinessbloke  Рік тому

      Hey Shaun, welcome to the channel mate!
      1. The motor only/no pedalling you’re talking about is illegal in Australia so you won’t be able to buy it like that from any reputable shop. I hear you can convert them but I wouldn’t know how and personally I don’t think it’s worth the risk.
      2. Legal speed limit is limited to 25kph. Again you could probably change that by removing a limiter of sorts on your bike but do so at your own risk.
      3. Yes! This is essentially what it is, imagine a gym cycling machine on the easy setting but you’re going 25kph 😃
      Sorry, probably not the answers you were hoping for but that’s the current law in Australia.

    • @shaunayy8700
      @shaunayy8700 Рік тому

      @@sidebusinessbloke no no thank you so much for answering! I just thought maybe these bikes would have a motor only/no pedalling option as firstly as name suggests, it’s an e-bike and secondly in parts of the video when you were riding it seemed like you weren’t pedalling but somehow still gaining speed, so I thought maybe there was a throttle or something that was allowing you to power it by the motor.
      Thanks so much again!

    Zoomo- they suck bad.. why is the arrow 10 so much better and cost less money. BIG MIDDLE FINGER TO ZOOMO.. the throttle assist dies in a hour or 2. On the arrow they go for 6-8 hours, THROTTLE ASSIST!!! WHYYYYY. In order to maximize your distance on zoomo you need pedal assist cuz the throttle sucks badly. No one wants to pedal on ECO mode for hours on end daily.!!!😡😡😡😡

    Would you mind sharing why you go for the sport instead of the zero?

    • @sidebusinessbloke
      @sidebusinessbloke  Рік тому

      I think it’s just a better bike because it has front suspension and more gears. The main reasons people might go for the zero is for the low cross bar so it’s easy to get on and off or if you only want the very simple gear system.
