It's really a good thing that we germans can participate in this years confed cup and that Joachim Löw made the move to mostly include young and inexperienced (but very promising for the future) players into the squad. This way they get a real chance to prove themselves in a cup-situation.
I kinda want Australia to make it out of this group but since they are playing Chile the last game I don't know if they will. Because Chile beat Australia 3-1 back in the 2014 WC and since then Chile has gotten a lot better. So the only way now would be to have AUS beat CAM by at least a 3 goal margin with no reply. And manage a scoreless 0-0 draw to Chile. Then only will AUS have a chance to advance, and to be honest I hope they do. Best of luck Australia!

I don't know who should be more ashamed- the Australians for both incredibly lucky goals they scored, or Bernd Leno for failing to catch the ball twice. Still this German team played more exciting football than the team last year at the Euros

Great match. Germany won but Australia fought very well and dominated in the second half . May be because it was young and inexperienced German team . If they had Mario Gotze, André Schürrle, Thomas Müller, Manuel Neuer, Toni Kroos etc in this match, they would have crushed this Australian side

I think Australia 2nd goal (which made the score 2-3) boosted up their morale , thus they had more possession in last 25 or 30 minutes.

18 months ago i would have tipped Australia to win but the coach has lost the plot.
His player selections and weird formation will see us not qualify for world cup after we were dominating .
He doesn't like playing practice matches and prefers to experiment in qualifiers costing us points and the 3 at the back has been a disaster since he brought it in.

Publico en general de futbol decía " es hora de meter tecnología al futbol". Existen a nivel mundial muchos amaños en los partidos importantes y el descontento general contra la fifa tenía razón. FIFA actualmente está incorporando tecnología poco a poco y hoy en jugadas claves se van apegando a ver repeticiones , perooooooo!!!!
