No matter how much time I put into these videos, after I publish them I always see things that I want to change. Or I think of another way I could have done better. But it's comforting to know that there are people who actually like my videos, thank you 😊. And that's what keeps me going. I may jump around from time to time with different types of videos just to see how people take to them. But for now it's kinda random. If you have a favorite video so far, let me know. Either way, Thanks for watching.
I hope you liked my video, It is difficult to do a video that keeps peoples interest especially when it comes to something like coding a game. my goal is to make a video that even a 12 year old can do it. because that was the age that I started. anyhoo here is a puppet video that uses a Commodore 64 to make a digital puppet ua-cam.com/video/IgiMzRYn8do/v-deo.html
This is so cool, I have just a few questions about this program. Can you output to a physical copy (like a floppy so you can make a custom box) and can you program enemies to use pathfinding or a simple move towards player AI?
Yes you can compile your finished copy of your game to a floppy disk 💾 or a image file if your using an emulator like VICE. Also, the game can boot independently. For your second question, the answer is no for pathfinding. However, you can tell the sprites to go the same direction as you, and with a little creative coding move towards the player. Hopefully that answers your question.
@AdamBarkerThe in my next game maker video I plan to remake the old atari game called Outlaw. I have the game made, but I haven't had time to make the video give me a week or two.
Your tutorial is truly spectacular, beautiful and interesting video
