It forced everyone to do the same shit before and after games. Everyone had the same preparation for the game and food was all the same, everything was so structured tight it made it so the only way players could be different from others is if they played different in the games. While dudes like Rudy were probly fine chillin and having a blast on vacation, smarter dudes hated being so locked down and you could tell some players played a lot better in the bubble than ever again in their careers. Rudy made a career just playing reactionary ball and got away with it because of his size and athleticism. He's just playing. Other dudes that think deeper into the game played better cause they tried different things. No fans no spotlight no loud noises just pure basketball
