I am so happy Xiaoyao told Cang Xuan all that. I agree 100% with what she said. When you think about it, fate brought Jing & Xiaoyao together. They were both abandoned by their families. After she rescued him, they had to depend on each other to survive. Sure they had their friends (at the beginning of season 1) but mostly they had each other. Their friendship grew into a love only they could understand. Also, I agree with her. What did she do to deserve all this? Why kill Jing and break her heart? Cang Xuan talks about protecting her, this and that. In the end, all he did was hurt her because of his selfishness. Not once did he think about what she wanted. Not once was it about how she felt. It was all about him.
Xiaoyao and Cang Xuan, they act so real and nice and I cried, tool. Both of them had so miserable childhood, but now they are grown and they could have better life, but they still are in struggle for their life and feeling, too sad.
That plot twist would make no sense. Why would the queen want Jing dead when he is the only one who can separate the princess & the man she wants, Cyan?
@@Audie529 In the original novel, Jing was killed by Cang Xuan. It happened in the real life, not in a dream. The TV series change the plot and improve Yuan's character. The queen like that Jing and Xiaoyao would get marriage because it would separate the king and Xiaoyao.
