There are signs saying the horses may bite. If she couldn’t tell the horse was irritable, the guard is not blighted. Just like if you block their way while marching on duty they knock you out of the way and not bat an eye. You may fall and get injured, but you are supposed to not interfere with their duties.

Reminds me of the time I first rode a horse. I was very nervous but the nerves fell away when we started slowly, the horse then started gathering a little more momentum. We started going a bit fast and I slipped in the seat. I fell off the side but my left foot was still in the stirrup. The horse kept going and I was shouting and screaming for someone to help me. I swear my life flashed before my eyes, and time went by so slowly. I don’t know how long the ordeal went on for exactly, but I was so relieved when the Tesco security man came over and unplugged the horse.
