It is super difficult to pass the background check if you don't have the SSN yet, as it takes about 2 weeks for it to arrive and also without US credit score, it's nearly impossible. We are both German and never took a loan back in Germany but here it's necessary to take credit cards and loans to proof that you pay your bills on time. It's a different universe to us. How did you manage the background check?

Yes the rent is paid monthly. The fully furnished one will be good for new immigrants but might be a little bit expensive.

We did our checks from England with the help of our recruiter
You can get a credit card through your bank. Credit scores are extremely important in the United States.
