Dear Bob, My father wrote a textbook of American English for Foreign Learners back in 1979 ... However, due to the fact that the relations between the USSR and the USA were going through a rough patch at the time, the manuscript was turned down and its publication was strictly forbidden by the Communist educational authorities. My father passed away a long time ago but I still have that manuscript. I could type it up and email it to you in parts if you want absolutely for free. Obviously it's horribly behind the times and needs a lot of updating but I believe it might still be of considerable interest to teachers and students of American English. - SF Moscow, Russia
I loved watching the content you were made from your heart. This one is also coming from your heart I can see on your face. Learning with the person who enjoys while teaching is far far better than classroom atmosphere. Thank you so much Bob for making this.
Thank you for this online lesson. When you are on the go, you can get fast food at drive- through, but if you have plenty of time, you can prepare a yummy meal with healthy ingredients.
Omg, it's so nice when I get everything! Every phrase and words! In such moments I start to think English is not so dificult for learning. Thank you for your lessons!
I am Japanese.🇯🇵🌸👘🍵 I think video is the best way to learn vocabulary and customs. If I put the Japanese translation in my head, the Japanese language comes up every time and interferes. The voice is very easy to listen to. Maybe it is just me, but some speakers have a voice quality that I cannot hear at all. I'm having a hard time remembering. Sad.😢
Hey Bob! thanks a million for making this amazing videos I have a suggestion; for some words like "Cook" we are always confused about it's pronunciation because of the other similar word "Kook". Can you please also clarify this a bit more about the pronunciation of the words that are tricky for non-native speakers?
Hi Bob! 🖐️😎 I really like that I can learn more about general culture on your channel, in addition to learning a language. In Turkish, breakfast is a combination of two words, just like in English. The word breakfast (in Turkish kahvaltı), which is defined as a light meal eaten before drinking coffee in the morning, is derived from the combination of the words coffee and base. (kahve+altı=kahvaltı) By the way, breakfast is a very popular meal in Turkiye. Every region has a very nice breakfast, but the most famous one is the breakfast of Van city. If you come to Turkiye one day, I definitely want you to try Van breakfast. Thank you so much for this unique lesson! Have a great day! Bye 👋 😊 🌹 💐 ♥️
Actually i watched your formal video about food over and over, But i got to obviously watch your new one about food, i am so lucky , thank you Bob for this new one~
Hey Bob! I don’t tend to comment a lot, but I must admit that I do love each and every lesson of yours. It’s often times just like spending time with a friend of mine. I seat back, watch you speaking and relax. You’re a great man, Bob! 👍 Thank you for doing your great job. You’re honest and natural and that’s what gives you the advantage. So, keep it up! I wish I could travel to Canada and talk to you in person but the bizzar that’s happening now makes it practically impossible for those who live where I live… Nevertheless, what’s bad in heaving dreams) PS: I’m the one who once made a video about bananas in the Soviet Union)
❤ thanks a lot for this interesting lesson. I might just add that you can eat raw meat. In Italy we have a special dish called " carpaccio" consisting in thin slices of raw meat usually seasoned with oil and bitter salad 🎉
As a person from Uzbekistan, I can say that Especially in Uzbekistan, we eat a lot of rice. Because our national dish is ''pilaf'' and it is made with rice.
I'll got my license in English studies ,i live in Morocco i do speak french Arabic English my mother tongue berber ,what should i do to get a job in Canada as an English teacher
❤beg your pardon if I add another comment Pick-me-up in Italy is one of the yummiest dessert! It' s full of calories and therefore called "tiramisù" (pick - me -up). 😂
