I don't know why, but I find the trooper chatter about the T-15/VT-16/T-17 to be hilarious. A solid 44 years between all of those conversations, but at the end of the day, all of these troopers just want the nicest, newest ride.

Let's see....we can take out the death star super laser by an x-wing going to lightspeed into the lasers emitter port; or we can destroy starkiller base by an x-wing jumping to lightspeed into the solar energy collector/capacitor assembly. They jumped the shark. Kathleen Kennedy is horrible.

In the other Star Wars movies, we meet Jabba the Hutt, who is a Big Shot Gangster Putting Together A Crew, on Tatooine. Amazing reference, really subtle too. Don't think anyone noticed this amazing piece of foreshadowing.
Yet another proof why "SOLO" is a fantastic movie! An instant classic. A masterpiece. The first Star Wars movie without WAR (almost) but with plenty of STAR qualities: Fun, humour, adventure, action and style. I put it in the same category of films like "Back to the Future" and "Romancing the Stone". Without saying that it is so good as these two movies.

There's a few nods to The Phantom Menace here: 1. Han leaving Corellia telling the only woman in his life he'll come back / Anakin telling his mother Shmi "I will come back and free you" 2. The Falcon in the Maelstrom scene where the power goes out, Han connects a few wires and it turns on to reveal a creature staring right at them. / Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon in the Gungan sub powering down, Obi-Wan connects a few wires and it turns on to reveal the Colo claw fish.
I seriously wish I could find a full version of the in-universe version of the Imperial March, it sounds so interesting to hear a upbeat and patriotic version of the I.M., especially after hearing the regular evil version for so long.

The Cloud Riders actually come from the original Marvel comic. They are a swoop bike gang that battle Han and Chewie, but they are actual bad guys, and there’s no Enfys Nest
I think you missed a couple of action callbacks. In ROTJ, Luke takes a speeder bike and angles it to outmaneuver around the Empire troopers. In Solo, Han and Qi’ra are on the run from Lady Proxima and the White Worms in Corellia and Han maneuvers his M-68 Landspeeder for a shortcut that backfired on him. Also, in Solo, Han hotwires the Landspeeder to make it run. In ROTJ, a reluctant Han declares “I guess I can Hotwire this thing” after R2 gets shocked.
I have a bad feeling about this. I got a good feeling about this. You know what I think. I have the greatest feeling that watching this video is great. Love it!
i rewatched solo and i think it is now one of my favorite star wars movies. best of the disney ones for sure so far... i have high hopes for episode 9 maybe they can pull some crazy shit that makes me reconsider episodes 7 and 8.
I feel like Solo should have been released in December. I feel like it would have gotten a lot more praise instead of being released in the summer because a lot of people were still pissed after Last Jedi. I really enjoyed this movie but I felt like it was a little rushed.
