Thank you sweet Susan, I’m very thankful as well. 💛 It doesn’t sound like he needs surgery as soon as we thought since it isn’t life threatening, but hopefully it will just be a 2 week recovery time when it happens!

Persuasion is my favorite Jane Austen, it does have more plot. though the first time i read P&P i was surprised i liked it as much as i did. Sense and Sensibility also has more plot. Maybe all the other Austen books have more plot.

Have you tried anything by Charles Dickens? Or have you read Anne of Green Gables? I read that and A Christmas Carol and loved them both! My next Dickens novel is going to be Great Expectations. If you think you would be in to Dracula and Frankenstein...I highly recommend both of those too!
