Hi everyone and Anna I've brought out stretchy pencil skirts out black one burgundy and wear them with long sleeve teeshirts flat shoes for the day and I'm happy with the look also I'm 62
Thank you for this video, I enjoyed it immensely - and I think you look ADORABLE in the outfits. So smart of you using inspiration of a show for this video. I really like your fun attitude of "let's try and see". I have discovered so many things lately by trying things that I thought I did not like or could not wear and have been delightfully surprised. "Can't wear wool" went to "I can wear Cashmere and Merino". "Half or whole front tuck can't do" went to "Wow ! I like this half tuck style". Fashion should be fun and you can get dressed up even if you are not going anywhere or just going to Costco. Doing the baggy with baggy look relies on the pieces not being too oversized if you are petite like you demonstrated. Keep doing what you do - LOVE it !
Yr channel is the only one I’ve seen “over 50+” where the clothes look fabulous on you, not trying to be trendy, look young, etc., and end up looking ridiculous, like every other over 50 channel. Thx for this👍👍I’m a coastal grandmother in my style and its so “me”. Comfy, light and airy, 💜camel is your color!! Looks great on you! Just began the series 👍👍in the first scene, that exact outfit is how i dress so funny
I can’t do baggy with baggy. I’m 5’3 so it overwhelms me. But I also won’t do chunky soled shoes, pointy flats or cropped pants. Why people think cropped pants look good is beside me. It reminds me of outgrowing your pants but your parents won’t buy you anymore clothes for the year. We called them high waters. Why can’t people just wear pants that fit? Learn to hem or go to a tailor. I also won’t be buying pleated pants. Been there and done that years ago. It adds too much bulk.
I use to think they were "high waters" or "flood pants" when I grew up but now at 61 I am embracing the look and love it. I'm only 5'2" and it looks great.
Love the video! You read my mind while watching the series. I loved the styling of Naomi. I have tried to copy some of the looks. Thanks for putting it all together for us.
Where is your hat from? I bought one like it after I saw this video from Patina…very nice Cream color ,with a thin brown leather band. Very good quality.
I’ve not seen the series but know the story I think the tonal look only suits some and people who don’t have a tendency to get dirty or spill things on themselves 😂
Your monthly capsule videos where you create outfits are my favourites, you do it so well and I get lots of ideas from them. Always good to try a new look or trend but you didn't have your usual confidence or comfort in any of these outfits.
I loved the clothes in the watcher. Don’t think I can pull it off in those colours because I have a German shepherd. I haven’t seen many of these colours in Australia
I haven't seen the show. Someone wearing lots of white and cream must love to do laundry 😅. I am short and plus sized. Two oversized pieces together would just make me look bigger.
What people think looks frumpy, doesn't look frumpy to me. That's how I dress. I'm 63, 5'4" and chubby. Menopause hit me hard. I'm over feelings bad about myself. I am what I am an enjoying life. I will never be wearing tighter clothes, half tucks, full tucks, pointy shoes or boots or belts. Who ever came up with this stuff ? Not for me. Wear whatever you feel like. Most days I'm in lounge clothes or pjs. ☺
The Watcher is on my list. I will be interested to see the fashion. I love the wardrobe of Villanelle in Killing Eve. Not quite for me at 69 though and I am not as slim and tall. However, I do like to look individual and feel my style is mine and not what influencers dictate 🤔 I take ideas sometimes. Your hair is very pretty!
I'm not great with baggy and baggy. Actually I'm still in a quandary of trying to work out what works for me and what doesn't. You did make me smile though, saying you look and feel like a stylish woman so you wouldn't wear it in your home town. I can just imagine what people in my town would say if I got dressed up.😁
Great video, I recently cut my hair chin level again and I love your hair shorter. I think it makes us older than I am but the light younger with a bit shorter hair. I have an inverted bob it’s a little shorter in the back and those longer in the front. I love this video it’s really good ,you look great in that outfit. I love the hat and would wear the hat !
I think shoes need to flow with an outfit. To me coastal grandma would wear sandals or espadrilles. However I ace not seen the movie- I’ve never even heard of it.
The baggy on-baggy look is a trend. If you are buying this look, don't go too voluminous. Keep the sizing reasonable, and hope that you will get more use out of these clothes. It's not a petite-friendly look for me at 5' 1". On someone taller and bigger, it is doable.
I wouldn’t like the baggy trousers. Not with a baggy top. I’d look dumpy and short in all of that. I’ve never seen the series 🤷♀️I like the tonal look though.
Thank you ,. I'm tall so I love baggy with baggy and monochrome outfits

Ahhh your little dance heyyyy
Thank you!

Thank you so much for enjoying this video.
The scarf in the sweater sophistication at its best.
It is elegant.
Great idea to do this! I saw The Watcher and loved Nora’s clothes!
Thank you! 🤗
Love the hat. Wear it in your town and own it! It's all about confidence and being unique is good (in my opinion).
I have seen the series and I love storyline & the fashion. Both are awesome!
Yes they are. I'm looking forward to series 2

I hope the shopping links will help you build your wardrobe further too.
Love the cardigan and silk scarf. Really suited you.
Thank you. Certainly one I'll wear again
Morning Anna Marie yes frumpy don't like hat jacket mannish
Have not seen it but I can't wait to give it a watch.

I agree.

I agree with the cropped pants. They really cut off your legs.
Maybe they wear it because they like it and don't care what others think. Just a thought...
Great video. Love the tips. I haven’t seen the series but will look for it in Canada.
You should!
Love the video! You read my mind while watching the series. I loved the styling of Naomi. I have tried to copy some of the looks. Thanks for putting it all together for us.
Heyyy stipe trousers fab. Stripe
I love tonal outfits but am not a fan of baggy with baggy unless it's linen and it's summertime. Your haircut is very cute Annemarie.
Thank you so much!
Where is your hat from? I bought one like it after I saw this video from Patina…very nice Cream color ,with a thin brown leather band. Very good quality.
I got this in a curateir subscription box
I thought use them casual the pencil skirts and below the knee as I live in Spain bare legs tanned and still 65in the day wolly cardi looks casual
I’ve not seen the series but know the story
I think the tonal look only suits some and people who don’t have a tendency to get dirty or spill things on themselves 😂
Yes, it's not good for me. I'm mucky
Your monthly capsule videos where you create outfits are my favourites, you do it so well and I get lots of ideas from them. Always good to try a new look or trend but you didn't have your usual confidence or comfort in any of these outfits.
I felt most confident in the t with necklaces and the scarf section . You are right
I loved the clothes in the watcher. Don’t think I can pull it off in those colours because I have a German shepherd. I haven’t seen many of these colours in Australia
No they aren't common in the UK either
Love love pleated skirt
Is there a link to the episodes you are mentioning ?
sorry no, but its on Netflix. I had to be careful of copyright too so no pictures sadly
I haven't seen the show. Someone wearing lots of white and cream must love to do laundry 😅. I am short and plus sized. Two oversized pieces together would just make me look bigger.
I think for tall people it would be lovely
Now ivory coat fab with it

Yes this exercise made me realise that its not just about rules, its about does it look right.
@@Myover50fashionlife If you like it, make yourself happy. Don't care if other people like it or not. No rules for me, ever, especially at 63. 🙂
Waistcoat mannish and hat

You will love the outfits in the series I'm sure. Yes I also liked the Killing Eve looks too.
While watching that series, I kept thinking Naomi Watts (Nora) needs a little color, but these outfits look great on you
Oh thank you!
I'm not great with baggy and baggy. Actually I'm still in a quandary of trying to work out what works for me and what doesn't. You did make me smile though, saying you look and feel like a stylish woman so you wouldn't wear it in your home town. I can just imagine what people in my town would say if I got dressed up.😁
It's so true though isn't it 😀
I was taught not to wear white after Labor Day I see you look great . What’s your opinion.
In the UK we don't have such a rule. I go by the weather so stop wearing white trousers when the ground gets wet dull and muddy.
Thank you for the compliment. I love how we all chat on here. community spirit.
I bought a hat that looks very much like yours and put it with a all cream outfit 😊🇺🇸
Awesome video!
Glad you enjoyed it
You look great in the clothes and also a hat suits you although this particular one is a bit too big for you in relation to your body size
What is the name of the series you refer to?
The watcher on Netflix
I think shoes need to flow with an outfit. To me coastal grandma would wear sandals or espadrilles. However I ace not seen the movie- I’ve never even heard of it.
Yes this is winter version and she wore boots in the series. Irs on Netflix, The watcher
Camel great

Yes, it's my view, too. At 5ft 2 its not great on me
Is that series really scary? I’ve just watched the trailer😱
No nothing scary happens. Its an intriguing mystery
@@Myover50fashionlife thanks, I might watch then👍
I wouldn’t like the baggy trousers. Not with a baggy top. I’d look dumpy and short in all of that. I’ve never seen the series 🤷♀️I like the tonal look though.
I feel the same for me but i guess we are similar heights
@@Myover50fashionlife I think so, I’m 5’ 3 if I haven’t shrunk 🙄
I always go by the rule, baggy on the bottom more fitted on the top or visa versa
I saw the series. It was ok. I hated the ending.
Yes but i suppose they had to stick to reality
@@Myover50fashionlife
I guess but lots of so called “ true” stories don’t. I think they could’ve ended it better.
These outfits would not suit me. Like your other videos though. Not a fan of baggy clothes. Each to their own I suppose.
I prefer the streamlined looks too, with the skirt
I watched the series and loved the fashion and decor. These outfits look so good on you.
Thank you so much!
What is the name of the series?
Excellent video xx
