This is a really smart way to make a flight cage without breaking the bank, I especially like the feeding system you have! Thanks for sharing. My only comments/suggestions/concerns would be to maybe add a panel over one half or fourth of the cage length as a shelter from intense sun or rain. A piece of linoleum could do it. UV light is good for feather quality so I’m glad they have access to natural sunlight! My other thought is on metal toxicity, I don’t know what type of metal these are but in case it isn’t bird-safe, I’d suggest adding some additional wooden bits to chew instead (only applies to species like parrots that chew bars).
I don’t wanna sound rude or overstep but one more thing! Make sure the wood you use for perches is from a species of tree that is safe for parrots since they chew and be on tHe lookout for fungus
Nice work i find it easiest to make it in 3 parts the body one continuous piece and clamp on corner then bottom and top im making a cage now for a chicken
I SEE A SMALL MISTAKE. THE SMALL DOOR FOR THE FOOD IS NOT AT THE CORRECT PLACE. YOU MUST STICH IT ON TOP IN ORDER TO STAY CLOSE ALL TIME. YOU MAKE UP AND TAKE OUT THE BOXES FOR FOOD.
How are you all . I am Muhammad from Libya, a bird and parrot breeder. I want to create a nature reserve and ship some birds I want to inquire about shipping and animal prices I would like to know the shipping information and guarantees I want to know whether it is possible to establish a partnership or agency, but in Libya.
Very smart design! No need for wooden frames or anything. Now I just need to find that type of mesh. Great job.
