Just bought this. What you and many others don't disclose is that it comes rolled up (and bound). Mine's been sitting out for 24 hours now and it's arched with a 2" space underneath. Also, not to mention the "vegan leather" and the felt underside is distorted. Terrible product for the price $79 - it should be ready to use when it arrives....not have to wait weeks for it to relax and lay flat! @orbitkey
I know that you can add multiple cable holders as extras on the kickstarter (I'll assume they'll do that if they stock on their main website too). - Ed
They do and I asked them if they could make a special edition red one or anodized metals or copper/brass ones. They're really nice. I use it on the bottom side of my desk to manage phone charging cables and if I need it closer I take it off the bottom and put it on one of the legs of my desk.

Hello Yassine! Most users don't experience sliding however it depends on the desk you have. I've heard others use cheap thin rubber stops but I guess it still totally depends :) - John
This thing is fucked in the head. The cable holder isn't needed for a keyboard that doesn't ever move. A mouse, on the other hand, doesn't want to have the cable pinned down. Why would you hype something so useless?
I was amazed at how much a desk mat changes the entire experience when using a mechanical keyboard. Glad you mentioned that advantage.

Part of my desk is made out of metal (legs and bottom) and I use the magnet to manage cables.
