    I've been to 3 of Scott's classes. He's very good. The grip he teaches has changed the game for me. Took alot of work, but we'll worth it!

      Yep, his grip is very effective and requires modification of what is "normal" to master it.

    Great video glad he demonstrated that bore axis means absolutely nothing when your grip is correct. Keep them coming now that I’m in Tennessee maybe the overland course is in the future

    Abner great content brother. I've hosted Scot two times out in so cal and he is great to work with. Glad you put this video/videos out. Sorry if I botched your spelling of your name brother, been awhile since us talking about hand held light manipulation techniques.

    Ive never used the trigger guard for an index point. He explains it perfectly. MMA and shooting go hand-in-hand. You must know your body to become a better shooter.

      Not quite how it works, son. I have always gotten it. I trained with Scott because he teaches a hybrid of competition and combatives. He does this by default because he is a jujitsu student and understands that rolling is sighting and the key word in gunfight is FIGHT.

    Okay, Okay, Abner. After this comment, I will start looking for a class to attend. I am sold. Just this instructor or any certified MSP class?

      Obviously Scott if possible, it is his curriculum, after all.

      @kennethhart5393 Hunter Freeland is one of his instructors as well and is top notch.

      @SmithandWessonBlazer thank you for adding Hunter's name to the comment section. I was really impressed with Scott's curriculum so anyone who is teaching it is going to be worth traveling to see.

    Appendix prints way too much for me. I'm only 170lbs too, size 32 waist. The holster just bulges out. I tried a T-Rex arms side car and generic holster with a claw.

    • @Tier1Citizen
      @Tier1Citizen  2 місяці тому

      Trust me I fully get it. My wife is 5'9" and about 148 lbs. She has a wonderful holster that was handmade for her. It was designed for deep concealment and it still prints on her. Her only hope is wearing tights and a shirt that is one size too big. She is a sharp dresser and would never dare to go in public in a shirt that is one size too big, so that's that.
      You could try a trigger guard holster: ua-cam.com/users/video3B0fC4oXR4s

      @@Tier1Citizen I wear custom made Alpha Omega Kydex holsters at the 4'oclock position. Although appendix is faster, I can't conceal well and since I'm a LEO it's more natural for me to draw from the 4 oclock position.

    9:44 maybe that is why Glocks didn’t have forward serrations. 🤷🏻‍♂️

    • @Tier1Citizen
      @Tier1Citizen  3 місяці тому

      Historically, firearms haven't had forward serrations because manufacturers must produce guns with the least amount of steps necessary to complete a task. Guns have them now because performance shooters and combatives shooters have seen the need for them and manufacturers now realize that they are being outsold by the post production industries that turn Glocks into $2,000 handguns.

      @@Tier1Citizen the way he explained thing is over complicated and analogy is not on point.
      Thats cool if he’s teaching whole group of jiujitsu students with those terminology, or you’re just wasting everyone’s time and money.
      If you look at USPSA championships everyone is using different grip, you have to experiment and find out what grip works for you, not something
      “high thumb wave grip” made up by Scott.
      The black belt standard is stupid, 100% marketing tool.
      Scott is fairly good shooter but a bad teacher.
