Very cool and different atmosphere from most pop/rock shows. I imagine years from now, this song will be an anthem at her shows. The whole crowd will be singing so loud they will over power her.
I'm kinda glad she's not as famous as the Katie Perrys of the music industry, but not to say she hasn't earned it. She has, and then some. Banks is more grounded, raw, and genuine. Her music really hits your core, and musically, it takes you deep into a place that other artists cannot do.
I don't know what it is that makes Banks really quiet and reserved before she performs. Maybe she's shy or nervous, but those times when she lets it fall away are great.
Wow, i did not see that coming. This entirely diferent acoustic version seems to hit way harder. Banks realy unleashes her organic vocals here, like in "Under The Teble". That was amazing.
This lovely lady is one of my newest favorite artists! She reminds me a little of Portishead, who I LOVED when I was a teenager. I'm definitely looking up more of her work...she's very talented.

I was lucky enough, to having seen her three times this year, and at this particular performance, her album release, she was singing her album afterwards and she really was monster sweet. No attitude whatsoever. She patiently signed the albums with whatever fans asked her to. It felt very genuine from her part.
