Nice! My 95 Silverado is almost done with its 5.3 swap. Buddy of mine who junks cars got me a motor and trans out of a 03 Yukon with 38,000 on it. We were amazed how everything fit like it was meant for my truck. The upper and lower coolant hoses to the factory Y pipe with the factory cats off the Yukon fit so perfect. The holly terminator is what is taking a little more time and will be a nice upgrade from the 305 TBI..
Front has lowing torsion keys, rear has flip kit, lift shackles, and c notch. All beltech stuff and all beltech street shocks. Has air bags in a rear as well. And yep 4x4 still works! I launch it often
@@madmax24v how does launching that work with the I’m assuming shift on the floor? I have a 1990 K 1500 goes into four low with ease but for high I think is out of adjustment because mine is a five speed manual and I have to back up and go forward multiple times before it engages. I’m assuming yours you just shift back and you’re in for high and push forward to go back to two wheel?
Dude I want to do a swap in my 95 obs. I live in CA so I have to deal with smog. I looked on to a E-rod but was way expensive. Wondering if you just ditched all the smog stuff on your truck?
On this truck yes HOWEVER, you could totally have it with all emmisions on it like it was a stock 04 chev 1500. And it will probably do even better on smog than the tbi 😂
