Such a good video, really well explained throughout. 16:45 I'm very glad you covered this, pausing after not getting what you expect can slow people down massively.
Excellent video! I’ve thought about the opening probabilities before whilst playing no flag eff (e.g. 3 unknowns expert = 50%), but surprised to see someone apply it for speed play. For 16:08, there is an additional option not mentioned, which is probably more useful for pure efficiency, and that is to leave it until later and hopefully get a very juicy chord once the mine on the right side has been located.
Not necessarily, I just like to start there. And I was only showing example games that were successful. Although corners are the best starting position for opening probability

Yet another bangin video. Quality never deteriorates. You're always so good at explaining this stuff so that it makes sense

there are some good insights in here. maybe if i practice them i can finally get a sub 50 expert
I've learned is that you have incredible board vision and I absolutely do not
THANKS FOR FILLING ME UP DADDY HONG
OMG! That’s mind-blowing! Congrats! Ty!

Yooo I just got a 100% efficiency expert game thanks to this video!
I call them zeroes. An "opening" for me is the beginning of a game, whether it has a zero or not (e.g. Bongcloud opening)
is the top left corner always safe?

Ugh, that music was so loud compared to video
😮😮😮😮
