I don't play WoW anymore but when I listen their music It always sober my eyes... I never regret to spend my huge time and money to WoW. It was a good time.
S tier: WoD A tier: Wotlk, TBC, BFA B tier: Legion, Df C tier: Shadowlands D tier: Cataclysm Shadowlands, and especially Cataclysm sound like they had an identity crisis, not a real theme (unlike the rest on the list), just a very general, almost bland (although beautiful) classical piece.
If only we would have an expansion as good as BFA was until last patch. I feel BFA was really the last expansion where blizzard did not just want to get away with absolute least possible work like they did in SL and like they continue to do in DF...
I liked BFA alot and pretty much stopped playing when shadowlands came, especially because level cap dropped back to 60. Leveling may have taken an eternity without heirlooms in BFA, but it felt like an Epic journey, at least for me.

MoP is very underrated. i miss the times. very good times. i played it extensively and never hated MoP ever. people change opinions but my opinion was always the same. timeless isle grinds, thunder king expansion, the biggest faction war ever was in MoP. but we miss those times as we age.
It's a very universal thing you're experiencing that goes beyond just games, time has a way of creating a fondness for a lot of things you'd never expect.

WotLK will never be defeated imo. Even without my nostalgia for the xpac, the theme is THE quintessential Warcraft overture in my heart and mind. It starts with the general WoW motif, then it flows through the main themes of several of the playable races and factions, then it ends it all with the best version of A Call To Arms ever recorded. No piece of music captures Warcraft more perfectly than this for me
Cataclysm beats 100%. The ominous theme at the beggining giving warnings of the dangerous lurking the entire continent the Dun Morough music, the classical horror theme of Gilneas, the Nelf's darkshore music capturing their race's burden in Mount Hyjal, the Kezan theme representing the goblins arising prosperity with joining the Horde, and the classic WoW tribute part. Hell it even has the invincible theme on it, capturing the Scourge's defeat and the liberation of Northrend. Just right after Invincible, you hear the ominous cata music, representing the transition from WotLK threats to Cata threats.
Omg this brings back so many memories for me 😭 my dad got me into WoW back in TBC I’ve been playing off and on ever since then but I love the game so much and Sylvanas Windrunner will always be my queen ⛓️🖤🔮 the BfA log-in screen brings back so many memories that’s where I came back after 3 years away and I joined my first ever guild, and really started playing hardcore for the first time I’m still currently playing and DF has been awesome. Bravo and I absolutely love love the video, great work and Dark Lady Watch Over You always 🔮💜🦇

DF screen... while beautiful, doesn't look like WoW. If not for WoW's logo i'd think it's some mobile game.

Cataclysm's log in theme is definitely one of the better ones. It was the beginning of the downward trend into the Valley of the Shadow(lands) of Death, but it's hard to deny the soundtrack is strong
