    And don't those W&W locomotives look good? I remember the W&W passing through Glassboro when I was a student there back in the 1970s, I think it was on old PRSL trackage.

    Number 2661 has that strange cab that protrudes out in the middle.
    I've always wondered about the purpose of these strange cabs. Can anyone tell me?
    I know the SD45's on the Reading had this same cab design.

      They were built that way to make space for dual control stands.
